I've just recently completed a deal for the sale of my Megathron Federate Issue.

The new & proud owner of this paperweight paid a sum well above 10b.

I will not release the new owners name or actual price, though (s)he is free to should they desire.

I'm now happy to say that the buyer has returned the ships hood ornament, the head of Fatal, for me to again mount on the bow of my ship.

I got the federate megathron by killing Fatal about two years ago. Fatal is one of the two founders of the Guristas pirates.....and yes, I'm still hunting Rabbit, who is the other founder.

Please take you whining to another thread. I buseted my ass to kill him and all you do is complain that you didn't get recoginition.

I chased Fatal for 6+ hours over 4+ systems and I'll do it again for Rabbit.

Discorporation, what's your plan? (Other than camping a gate)

I didn't shoot at him. He got past Evolution by using trix we didn't have access to. I enjoyed him smacktalking Shrike in local. It was pretty good smacktalk. We'll have to kill him again for that.

I have refused making any sort of public statement on this matter because I don't feel the need to boast about a simple sale or my ridiculous wealth. It is merely the first step in my personal ambition of using this ship against the Federation. Yet, it came to my attention that Doc Brown had intentions of selling my name and the purchase price for a sum of 500mil isk.

This I feel is an incredibly lame act of capitalistic greed considering the recent influx of fifteen-billion isk to his wallet, and that the information is not exactly secret. Anyone holding a conversation with me in the past few days or week would have known.

This 15bil ISK "paperweight" will be retrofitted with the very finest in Core Serpentis equipment, and baptized with the blood of Federation citizens, in due time. Until then, feel free to ask questions.. lest any more people try to profit.

So let me get this straight....

A Gallente pod-pilot sold a military issue battleship to another Gallente pilot, who has intentions of using it, equipped with Serpentis weaponry, against the Gallente.

I don't know whether to be more disturbed by this act, or to cheer on the pilot in his actions against the Federation.

Either way, it's typical Gallente behavior. We now see that the Gallente rot and corruption has filtered down from its highest tiers. Ideas like loyalty, patriotism, and enlightened self-interest are obviously unknown to the Gallente population, though I don't know why I'm surprised by this.

Keep up the good work, Gallenteans(sp?).

And your point is ? Really mr Caldaran you've speaking more about nationalism on the whole than the Gallente polis and if you think the Caldari state is less prone to venal short-termism you have another thing coming.

Ahem, Ms. Constantine...it's Caldaren, not Caldaran.

Furthermore...I can't say I've heard of the Caldari government giving out military issue ships of the line to pod pilots to have them sold to other pilots actively supporting the Guristas. Perhaps I'm wrong, as I'm only recently paid attention to interstellar events.

It's not a matter of nationalism, rather a matter of the price of patriotism. You have a national hero, given a gift of immeasurable price (heh, although it would appear that this price was not, in fact, immeasurable) who decides to deal it like some common garbage scow. And not just to any common pod pilot, but one who speaks openly on Galnet of using it against the Federation itself using Serpentis weaponry.

I'd imagine any Caldari corporation would be ruined by the financial impact of such public disclosure.

Watch your mouth, you insolent little drone. If you call me Gallente one more time I'm going to use your head as the new ornament.

And for the record, this behaviour is hardly restricted to race. The Amarr have sold some of their prized ships long before this. Two factions known for high levels of idealism.. something makes me think the materialist Caldari State would have no qualms about such a profitable sale.

However, no risk of that yet. For it to occur, your engineers would have to design something better than oversized missile-spamming cargo containers.
