Digi...I can call you Digi can't I, old boy?...I find idle threats by spoiled playboys attempting to imitate real pirates rather droll. While you model your new ship and polish some shine into the hull, hard working Caldari men and women are busting their backs to get a pale reflection of the chance in life you squander and throw away.

This being said, I'm definitely all for your taking the fight to the Gallente Federation. By all means sir, do as much damage as you can. And while the Federation deals with you, know that the Caldari State is one step closer to taking back what is rightfully ours due to YOUR actions. Each ship you destroy is one more ship they must replace. Each hauler you intercept is another small ***** in the armor of the Federation economy.

I thank you.
My family thanks you.

The alliance we're part of thanks you.

So I'm a playboy now, huh? Well, I knew I was hot stuff but I'm not sure whether to be insulted, flattered, or disturbed at your subtle advances. One thing is for sure, you misplace your people's hopes and dreams easily (kind of like you misplace your homeworld).

There is no guarantee they would not get the same treatment; and judging by your fear of the Federation, the hard working Caldari people wouldn't take kindly to my attempts at life-squandering.

Equality in ethnic cleansing is good for business y'see.

Caldaren, without trying to be offensive, but no doubt doing so anyway, i have to ask you:

Are you completely retarded?

At what point has the Caldari State shown intentions to a) war the gallente federation, or b) take back Caldari Prime?

It's far more productive for the Megacorporations to farm the Federation for all it's worth with consumer products.

You're making up delusions you wish to be true.

Doc Brown: I missed most of what you said, your ego was clouding my vision.

DigitalCommunist: Good luck, i hope the 10bn isk symbol of irony you've purchased works a treat. The more you kill the better.

(Sure, the Caldari State may not want to drop the Federation like a stone, but that doesn't mean i don't ;) )

Good luck Digi! Please get thorough video footage of the decrepit Federation military forces finally taking the last step into the grave.

And once you kill the last of them, just to clinch the irony of it all, make sure you self-destruct your new ship. To do otherwise just wouldn't be fitting.

A worthy endeavour, as it should teach them not to be so open with their advanced military technology. You would think after the Imperial Issued Apocylypse battleship debocle, the other empires would wise up to the idea of using thier finest ships as bribes to capsuleers to do their bidding, was not in their best intrest.

It saddens me, that even my own government is invloved in this very practice. But im sure they have such things under control.

I do applaud you, DigitalCommunist... As you are one of the few who plan to use these troves of advanced technology as a weapon of war, instead of a trophy where the owners leave them permanantly fixed to the docking ring of thier home stations.

Yes, the Caldari (along with Gallente) are second rate ship designers compared to the Serpentis and Guristas (it pains me to say that name).

As for my thoughts on my previous ship: I called it a paperweight because I wasn't going to fly it, not when I could have 10+ other bships to fly. However, there are those who can put the massive powergrid to use and it's likely Digital is one of those few.

You forget that the technology which the gurista menace and serpentis base their designs on, is from the State and the Federation. With the public release of numurous bluprints, it is very easy for these rouge groups to improve upon the empires proven technology.

Which marches back to my orignal statment, if the empires continue to throw their advanced technology at the masses, like arisocrats throw copper coins at the poor.. The empires technology will continue to be used and improved by thier enemies. This is a downward spiral that should be stopped.

Then, if it is so easy to improve upon, why don't the Gallente and Caldari designers improve on them themselves?

Isk.. plain and simple.

There is a reason why the gallente navy still employs Thorax class cruisers, instead of the more advanced Diemos Class. Second generation technology is way too expensive to deploy on a massive scale.

I don't have any information on how, federally issued Megathrons cost to produce.. But i'm sure it is at least 3x as much as a standard Megathron class battleship.

From the empires point of view (all 4 of them) it is cost prohibitive to research and deploy advanced versions of thier ships simply because they don't have the resources to build them in sufficient scale.

And that is why you see only a few advanced battleships out there, simply becuase the empires themselves can only produce so many.. that they mainly use them as tokens of gratitude to the capsuleers who work for them. And for this reason you see them being bought and sold for billions of isk, becuase of thier extreme rarity.

The Guristas and Serpentis have more advanced battleships then thier empire counterparts simply becuase they have access to the resources to build them, and they take advantage of this.

All faction Mega's are Black.

The Federate Megathron is Black with two pike's on the front. On one of these pikes I had mounted Fatal's head. I don't know if Digital has put any heads up on them yet.

As for the stats, the Fed mega has the following bonuses over a normal mega:
+1 low
+3200 Struct
+50 Drone
+2500 Armor
+525 shield
+6 Mag sensor strength
