Hey Guy's 'n' Gals... I've checked the forums quiet a bit and not seen this posted yet. This of course surprises me.
We all (well those who think EVE-O is the best game in the world ever) need to go vote on
Golden Joystick Awards
There are 2 sections that EVE-O is up for an award, one is obviously for the best online game, and the other for best game of 2005 overall.
Go Vote now lets help EVE-O make it's mark even more-so than it has now.

Did anyone else feel their eyes starting to bleed when they had to fill in that contact info stuff at the bottom, white text on a yellow background, I dont do web development but even i know not to use that colo(u)r combo

Theres opt out boxes at the bottom and due to UK law if they do try to pass the information on without your acceptance they are breaking the law. Considering it's a large company running this awards I wouldn't think they would like negative press, so you can be pretty sure your data will not be used.

Nah, evil is voting for Lego Star Wars in every console category, even though I have never really used an X-Box or Gamecube. But a vote for Lego Star Wars is a vote for Legos, and it sends me back to my childhood, when space-themed legos were more than just star wars toys.

Need something to do during Eve downtime??? go and vote for eve in the 3 categories its been nominated in. I've voted 19 times so far, just make up a different email each time and your votes will get counted. Funnily enough though you can still use the same name and phone number each time (also made up) for each vote.
If you think I'm a bit crazy, I doubt I'm the only one doing this, I'm sure others have thought of doing this when voting for the inferior games out there too. (They are the crazy ones not me)

Don't do fake votes, seriously.
If fake votes are detected and EVE Online is removed from the polls for disqualification and inaccurate polling records, don't you think that's going to reflect on CCP in a negative light?
Vote once, and encourage other players to vote so that we can get an accurate and honest account of the votes for CCP to be proud of.

Voted eve for best online game of the year
Voted World of warcraft for best game of the year - id of voted eve but ofc it want developed this year. Reason being WoW was actually a good game, but it doesnt have the latability of eve, theres more depth in eve and thats why its a better game ultimatley.

Too bad there wasn't a "This game is NOT an MMO" vote. I'd have thrown in WoW there, for good measures. And yes, I have played WoW for more than a month (a month and 10 days, then the illusion caved in - just like it's starting to do for most WoWers when they start realising that Blizzard is pouring all their brilliance into WoW and nothing ever changes)

hey krak its prob better than the answers i get to my petitions
i get
1) its a BORDERLINE exploit. so i message back saying wtf is borderline. that isnt a definite yes answer, so i get another message saying" bad choice of words". so i get another message which basicaly still says borderline just re-worded
after argiubg back and forth for some 7 messages i gave up
my last response was. respect is earned and not given and ive no respect
sorta off topic but ive had bad day yesterday. still reeling. just responding to kraks coment

Also im surprised not to see Elderscrolls oblivion on any of their lists. Surely thats a more anticipated title than Deer hunter.

so where is eve on that list now ? here is a quick way to promote eve get into the WOW chats and un offical forums and flog eve to those disatisfied players once they get hooked WOW will sink he he.
Why not is over marketed over hyped and over charged and doesnt deliver like eve does. Lets help CCP push towards 100,000 player mark
