The best attempts at proving you're clean in a situation like this is to air your former employers 'potential' dirty laundry. Oh, wait, it isn't.
Buy the woman a (really expensive) meal next time von Khan. To quote an old Brutor friend; any man too keen to show off his Stabber, will soon be in possession of a personal Rupture. |

I think the more rational interpretation of what he was trying to say, ignoring the fallacious 'If there ever was one', is that such a corpse may have been destroyed or lost.
Then again, the body of a royal heir would definitely make an interesting acquisition if properly preserved, if only for historical record of such persons. Sculpture can fail to capture the mortality of such august persons as these, while stasis-preservation would most definitely provide (with a bit of cosmetic work considering hard-vacuum damage) a window into the very mortality of a historical figure.
Tangent aside, I agree with Andreus in that there is probably a body around out there. But there is a slim chance it got destroyed somehow. I like to imagine a shipping manifest error involving a crate of Fedos, some Syrikos hounds and the erroneous labeling of her majesty's former birthday suit as 'grade 2 protein feed - suitable only for livestock bulk'. |

To be honest, Andy, I can call you Andy right? Right.
In all seriousness I am surprised corpses survive podding at all, let alone after a self destruct. Having cooked off a few eggs with capital pulses before, I was pretty surprised to see that anything other than fused metal and carbon atoms remained of the poor sod who had been sitting there.
Maybe this is less a theological issue and more a debate on shaped charges and the vast plethora of ways one's corpse can survive being forcibly ejected from a device with all the integrity of a federation political campaign? |
