Since I have been dismissed from PIE Inc. I have the liberty to set the record straight. Silas Vitalia is accusing me of treason however the truth is a bit more complicated than that.
I didn't seek to meet her secretly, just in person.
She accuses me of conspiring to acquire sensitive PIE internal information for her use. This is totally false; I never released any information other than whatGÇÖs public knowledge. I donGÇÖt have any clearance to access GÇ£sensitive PIE informationGÇ¥ anyhow.
She accuses me to agree to do her bidding in effort to undermine PIE. I think she is mixing my poetry with reality I never agreed to anything with her. My intention with her was to help her regain the humanity she has lost.
Attempted a romantic encounterGǪ well I took what was given, no more. Of opening my heart to a witch I am guilty.
After declining her invitation to the gala Silas contact me about PIE Inc. being in possession of Jamyl I corpse attached with other conspiracies theories. At first I thought this was a waste of time, till I started noticing discrepancies and missing documents. I have extensively searched in logs, reports and trade manifests in hopes to confirm its existence. No one has ever claimed possession of it, at least not in an official manner however there is multiple eyewitnesses that confirms its existence. All of this is extremely suspicious. This started my interest for her ExcellencyGÇÖs corpse. Against the advise of my brothers, curiosity got the better of me and I contact her to see what she really knew. I asked her what the cause of her suspicions was because I couldn't find any evidence linking it to PIE Inc, it turned out she didn't knew anything and were all speculations. We rendezvou at Khanid lowsec space were we met. In that meeting passion overtook me, I did kiss her and she got furious! Aware that I had nothing else to talk about, I left immediately back to the Bleak Lands. To my surprise she had exploded on IGS with all this accusations that lead to my dismissal at PIE Inc.
Regardless of my personal shortcomings and my deserved dismissal, This search for the Empress body, should be of great concern to every soul loyal to the Empire, but above all to God. I have mixed reports from the eye witnesses of DoriamGÇÖs coronation, all coincide that her excellency capsule exploded however some say no corpse was recovered, others confirm it did. I will have to say their testimonies are unreliable because the long time that has passed. According to different leads the champions of the Sarum house took the corpse after the ceremony as is customary. I have narrow down the possible owners of the corpse. I followed their trail and seems most of them formed a corporation by the name Evolution which later branched out into IT alliance. Regretfully all the sarumites are either retired or missing in action leading me to a dead end. According to public records, there was footage available but the files seem to have disappeared as well.
Mr. Blake confirmed being an eye witness of that faithful day however he had no knowledge of the whereabouts of her body. I searched PIE Inc. archives for any mention of the deceased Empress body it only confirmed what I said above. I have no reason to think Mr. Blake or any other members are not being truthful. IGÇÖm worried the body of the empress if fallen into the wrong hands might be defiled or worst used in a way that will jeopardize the stability of the Empire.

I warned you before, you're quest is that of a mad man. You head directly to the biggest complication in your life, an investigation that'll grant you infinite enemies and no benefit. For the truth is only one: Jamyl I is our Empress, and we follow her forever. All the rest doesn't matter.
When you start looking for ghosts, you end up seeing things that aren't there. As the Seeker of Truths Adriam Turnkist* said once, "when you look into the void, the void looks back at you". You should change where you gaze before it is too late. You already have paid a terrible price for looking into the wrong direction, you are yet in time to try setting yourself straight and returning to the proper path.
Or else, you will become a traitor, like so many fallen before. And the next time we meet it'll be in the battlefield, instead of the halls of the brotherhood.

Mr. von Khan,
The less said, the better as to your misguided efforts to tamper with matters best left alone concerning Our Lady of Victory, the Empress Jamyl Sarum I. All that would be the result of your lunatic efforts, if this so-called "rare" artifact would be found, would be the creation of fodder for the Empire's enemies to sow doubt and confusion and cause harm to Her reign and the Empire.
As to the rest of your fantastic narrative, I urge you to immediately end your adolescent infatuation with that... female. I am reminded of a children's fable, I used to read to my childen when they were small:
Once a scorpion asked a frog to carry him across a river. The frog refused. The frog was afraid the scorpion would sting the frog. The scorpion, however, argued with the frog that if she stung the frog, the frog would die before finishing the swim and the scorpion would drown. The frog considered this argument and agreed. The frog felt that he could be assured that the scorpion would look out for her own interests and the frog would thus remain safe. The frog took the scorpion on his back and began to swim across the river. Midway across the river, the scorpion stung the frog. As the frog began to die, and the waters overtake then both, he asked the scorpion "why?". The scorpion replied, "My dear, I am being true to my nature".
Sincerely and in the name of the Blessed Empress Jamyl Sarum I,

Von Khan,
You have already brought shame to your name by associating with the heretic Vitalia and have acknowledged your personal shortcomings in a public forum. This kind of continued rabble-rousing will only serve to further blacken your personal record in the eyes of any future employer. It would be in your own interests therefore to end this discussion and remove its record.

I think the more rational interpretation of what he was trying to say, ignoring the fallacious 'If there ever was one', is that such a corpse may have been destroyed or lost.
Then again, the body of a royal heir would definitely make an interesting acquisition if properly preserved, if only for historical record of such persons. Sculpture can fail to capture the mortality of such august persons as these, while stasis-preservation would most definitely provide (with a bit of cosmetic work considering hard-vacuum damage) a window into the very mortality of a historical figure.
Tangent aside, I agree with Andreus in that there is probably a body around out there. But there is a slim chance it got destroyed somehow. I like to imagine a shipping manifest error involving a crate of Fedos, some Syrikos hounds and the erroneous labeling of her majesty's former birthday suit as 'grade 2 protein feed - suitable only for livestock bulk'. |

Go and find Rodj Blake's official statement about the return and coronation of Empress Jamyl the First, and observe the painfully specific legalese he writes it in. I've seen less get-out clauses in Sukuuvestaa land ownership contracts. For a die-hard devotee of the Empire, the resplendent Admiral Blake was hedging his bets quite blatantly - something I don't really think a man such as Rodj would do unless he has reason to think that at some point in the future it will become politically unfashionable to support Jamyl.
You have to ask yourself what knowledge he might be privvy to that would make him think that.
This isn't by any means an insult against Rodj - for once. If he has very specific reason to believe that all is not as it seems, it's actually a very smart move to keep one's options open. Mane 614

I am grateful and devoted servant of the Empire, but I owe a greater obedience to God; and as long as I draw breath and have my faculties I shall never stop practising philosophy, which is the pursuit of truth. To those that claim to be righteous. Are you not ashamed that you give your attention to opinion, and similarly with reputation and honor, and give no attention or thought to truth and understanding?
If I have no contact whatsoever with God in my life, then I cannot see in the other anything more than the other, and I am incapable of seeing in him the good of God. But if in my life I fail completely to heed others, solely out of a desire to be GÇ£devoutGÇ¥ and to perform my GÇ£religious dutiesGÇ¥, then my relationship with God will also grow arid. It becomes merely GÇ£properGÇ¥, but loveless. Only my readiness to encounter the lost and to show him love makes me sensitive to God as well. Love of God and love of neighbour are thus inseparable, they form a single commandment. But both live from the love of God who has loved us first. No longer is it a question, then, of a GÇ£commandmentGÇ¥ imposed from without and calling for the impossible, but rather of a freely-bestowed experience of love from within, a love which by its very nature must then be shared with others. Faith grows through love, is GÇ£divineGÇ¥ because it comes from God and unites us to God; through this unifying process it makes us a GÇ£weGÇ¥ who transcends our divisions and makes us one with God.

It was called the Knighthood of the Merciful Crown, and it thrived for two years until I grew tired of the ugly world of capsuleers and sought to retire, in order to concentrate on my family and the pursuit of personal peace. When I did so I became more happy than I ever had been, or could ever be, as a capsuleer.
What caused me to retreat from this world of murderers, liars, profiteers and conspirators? Simply put, my idealism had run dry. Like I said, I once was like you, hopeful and happy, wishing to spread light and truth to the dark corners of the galaxy. However, that does not happen in the world of capsuleers. Here, I had been betrayed, insulted, defied, and hurt so many times I realized that capsuleers are, for the most part, not worth trying to save. Freedom from death also means freedom from responsibility to oneGÇÖs fellow man, and each day a capsuleer remains immortal their humanity slips away just a little bit more. Their arrogance grows and they become more assured in the absolute truth of their own corrupted perceptions. Most descend completely into the disease known as GÇÿcapsuleer dementiaGÇÖ and no longer believe themselves to be human. The rest tend to have varying degrees of the sickness, usually manifesting itself as mild narcissism and megalomania. Some, however, become so depraved they murder, thieve and **** with wanton glee, free from justice and not having to consider anything outside of their own twisted desires.
Trying to fight this madness in the capsuleer community is like trying to put out a burning building with little more than a wet blanket. You might snuff one flame after a great deal of effort, saving a small bit of the home you are trying to protect, but as soon as you move on to fight the fire in another area the flames creep back and reclaim what you thought had been saved. And some fires rage so bright and hot you cannot get near them without being destroyed yourself. That is what the object of your poem has become, von Khan. She has descended into such a frenzy of moral abandon that she will utterly consume you if you try to approach her. I assure you she cannot be saved, and nor will you be if you get lured into her domain.
Please, do not think me a dismissive cynic, because I am not. I learned these lessons most painfully, von Khan, and I would not be telling you this unless I knew them to be true. You do not yet understand the nature of the world you have joined; the ruthlessness, the casual violence, the complete disregard for humanity. In this world you can find the purest embodiments of evil you could possibly see as a human being, and I know this because I have found a few of them. During my time as a capsuleer I have been tortured, killed, deceived, manipulated, crushed and rebuilt only to be crushed again. I have seen these same things happen to the few friends I have made as well, and I do not want to see it happen to you. And yet, something tells me you will only learn if it does. I just pray it does not ruin your own mind as well.
I know your heart is in the right place von Khan, but please listen to this warning. If you go to Silas Vitalia on a mission of peace, she will laugh and brush your cheek with her burning finger, amused at the pathetic little fool who has come to 'save' her. Whether you burst into flame yourself is up to you, but be prepared to face the darkness that may cause you to do so. It is much more seductive than you seem to think, and I have seen better men than you fall to it before."
You saw this. You said you would heed this. You did not. I even held my tongue, not belittling your rediculous attraction to Silas, even though I find her and her ilk to be amongst the most disgusting examples of corruption in the world of capsuleers. And that is saying a lot.
Do not dare to turn around and say that we rejected you. Your lecherous desires and misguided arrogance thinking you could get the better of a demon are what betrayed you, not us. We tried to help you, especially me, but you chose to ignore all of that and instead ended up embarrassing everyone who flies under the PIE banner and putting our reputations, our operational security and our personal safety in danger.
If you figure out what you did wrong and prove that you will never repeat something like this, you might find your way back to our ranks. However, until then, good luck out in the cold with the wolves. You are going to need it. |

von Khan wrote: I am grateful and devoted servant of the Empire, but I owe a greater obedience to God; and as long as I draw breath and have my faculties I shall never stop practising philosophy, which is the pursuit of truth. To those that claim to be righteous. Are you not ashamed that you give your attention to opinion, and similarly with reputation and honor, and give no attention or thought to truth and understanding?
Holding one's loyalty to God above all other loyalties is good.
Thinking one can determine by oneself what loyalty to God should imply is arrogant and folly.
To understand one should be prepared to listen. Not just to one's own counsel, but to the counsel of their brothers and sisters, to the counsel of one's superiors and one's elders.
To stand here and say you were pursuing truth, while simultaneously trying to hide another truth from your brothers and sisters is contradictory. Before you demand truth from others, before you demand truth from the world around, start by demanding truth from yourself.
Did you seek counself from your brethren and from your elders? Did you disclose the full truth of your actions and intentions to them?

Suffer not the witch to live. This is a perfect example of why we utter this maxim. Better to die for the Empress than live for yourself. |
