Does anyone know if the flames coming from a ship, is only there if you turn "trails on", cause thats the only thing i not got on atm.
And i dont fancy nearly getting my ship blown up trying to test it :)

I have noticed some graphics glitches since the patch. About a third of the time missiles I am firing the explosions happen at my ship and not at the target. And this is at things like buildings that aren't firing back as well as in combat with ships. About the same odds I notice things just disappearing instead of exploding. My system is very high end.
P4 3.6
2 gigs ram
Geforce 6800 256 ram.
None of these happened prepatch. These are glitches not content being removed though. I was admiring a really cool looking gas cloud last night as a matter of fact. Wait that was just me after eating at Taco Bell.

1. 95% of Empire Carebears don't get 0.0 PVPers.
2. 95% of 0.0 PVPers don't get Empire Carebears.
3. 100% of Ore Thieves steal just to upset the Miners. |

Mostly the underside where there aren't any textures, just graded fills. Especially on the boxy things that stick out of it. Then there's all the 2-D probes sticking out of the back, etc.

Well IMHO the graphics are on the decline..
If anyone remembers back to the beta day's and thinks about what the roids used to look like compared to today, you would think nerf...
Before the exodus release, ATI graphic were far superior to vnidia cards, now the Nvidia cards do seem to have a lot better graphics. (Thx for making this game nvidia compliant)
I miss seeing the torps light up the sky when exploding, now it looks like a powder or dust effect instead of the big bright colourful lights... even thunderbolts used to be fun to watch, now you have to zoom up and if you blink you miss it.
What I would like, as has been said before, more control over my Graphics, I have 2 computers I use in this game and both are more then capable of doing so much more...
Please give us the options in the UI or allow us a .ini or .cfg file to play with. This way if we know we are going to be pvp'in, we can nerf our settings, if we want to mine, rat or do missions, allow us the option to turn on the eye candy so many of us dream about.
I know the dev's can do this for us, the question is will they ?
