there are only 2 movies that rule all the others and unfortunately they are not sci-fi movies...
Bad Taste and Braindead. Nothing can compete with those two

War of the worlds was an excellent cinema experience but the ending was poor and dissapointing if you hadn't already read the book or seen the original.

yes, its not a realy good translation frome the book. But that dont make it a bad movie imo annyway.
I have it pretty high on my top ten list of favorite movies actualy :)
