IF you change everything at once you have no real constant to compare how these effects are being felt. The majority of changes have opened up a wider range of ships for people to use (i actually discovered the t1 frig logi ships yesterday) and have changed the way people play.
Imagine if every ship had been changed at once, it would be too much for people to take in and handle. At least this way your current mission ship might have been changed today, but you have had experience with the new look cruisers and frigates to allow you to keep playing while you get used to the new battlecruisers. |

Its an immersion thing, its designed to give you a sense of where you are and where you are going to.
Considering most of this was done by one guy (at least the initial work) I think its a fantastic feature! |

My understanding was that although use have lost 1 launcher hardpoint, the increase to the damage bonus actually increases the raw dps potential of the ship. Would need to double check myself, but from what ive read on test server feed back forum people are saying they are getting an increase |

This was done a couple of expansions ago. If you look at the star gate you should see the autopilot line going straight to the target star.

Add the 25% bonus (not 5) and you are hitting with a whopping 250 damage per volley. Now, take away one LAUNCHER, reducing your total damage output per volley by 14%. You are now hitting, pre bonus, for 172 damage. Now add the "NEW AND IMPROVED" 10% per level, aka 50% damage bonus (to scourge missiles), and you are now hitting for (172*1.5)= 258 damage per volley. Imagine that! When you do the math properly, and have the ship trained to a decent level, your damage per volley went UP!
Confirming that with a well skilled, but not max drake. my raw dps from launchers has gone up exactly 8 |

The last 2 years of updates including the massive rebalancing has been done because of player demand. New content was planned (see WiS) however players decided that we didnt want that. CCP along with the CSM discussed that improving the FiS aspects where a priority, hence the revamp of war decs, faction warfare, bounty hunting and the ship rebalancing.
They cant simply do everything at once in one expansion, they do not have the time or the manpower. However my understanding of the CSM minutes, and the current planning for the summer expansion should see us get new content (in some form or other) Dont forget they still have other issues that the player base as a whole are crying out to be improved and worked on such as Science and Industry tab, Corp Roles, and the entire POS system.
You say a vast majority of people hate the changes, you base this on what? People moaning on forums? The vast majority of players likely do not interact with the forums at all, and those that do are far more likely to post when they dont like something. Players that like the changes (i for one am loving the changes to the brutix and myrm) tend not be so vocal. No matter what they do some people will like them, some will not. The Devs will cater for the majority, not just the people that moan on here
You reference Captains Quarters causing problems for people with older computers, yet you want them to keep pushing ahead with the new content. They cant do this if they are simply relying upon older harder etc. One of the downsides with being a PC gamer is you have to update your PC to keep up with the developments in games. (Not to mention after complaints about CQ they re-introduced ship spinning and disabling CQ) |

I have my drone list so both the in space and in bay drop down lists are open / expanded. It used to be when you launched drones they would just move down into the in space plane. Now when I launch drones, the window vanishes for a second then comes back with both drop down lists collapsed. The drones are under the in space section, the section is just now collapsed.
Managing drone aggro is a pain since I am having to re open the drop down menu every time I launch drones. I currently do not have drones grouped on the ship I am currently using. Not sure if that matters.
I wanted to check and see if anyone else is having this problem before I open a ticket. If other people have been having the problem or there is a work around let me know.. Glitch or not it should be addressed,

I have noticed this for weeks perhaps even months. It only happens occasionally, and more often when im running multiple clients. But it is an old issue |

Other than the persistance issue im liking them, when in an incursion zone it always annoyed me i couldnt hide them. And allowing us to change the autopilot settings without opening the map screen was long overdue |

I have managed to kill them in mission sites with heavy scourge missile since the change. It might just be a case of you having to improve your skills a bit more, are you using t2 launchers, im finding good dps from them.
As annoying as it might be have you also considered moving to another area of space where the rats have different resist profiles e.g guristas or serpentis areas, both have weekness to kinetic damage. Each of the racial ships have boosts to the damage to the rats common in their area (amarr lasers do good em/therm damage, gallente hybrids do good kinetic damage)
You could even change to a different ship altogether (i realise again this takes time) but the reason to change the drake was it became the go to ship for to many situations, the point is to bring all the ships to a similar level. I fly a drake, it is far to easy to make money with them when compared to other ships, putting caldari pilots at a natural advantage. You could give the cyclone a try, since the change its a pure missile boat, and cross training shouldnt take to long, although it is active tanked |

Hated ferox before, love ferox now. If fitted properly it can put out a tank similar to a drake with the flexability of using guns. |

I have 12 drakes and now i have 12 next to usless ships sitting in my assests after doing all these days of training heavy missiles b4 you nerfed the **** out of those and now the HAMs but what use is it now that one of the best ships to use it on is terrible?
What is your actual complaint with the drake? is it that you can now put out more dps when using kinetic missiles? The minor, minor drop in tank does not make it a useless ship. I have been able to use mine exactly the same before and after the patch. the only difference is I tend to have more missiles left in my hanger at the end of a day.

IIRC you get a weapons timer in a duel, that prevents you from docking for 1 minute, if they survive that long then lucky them.
If you want to be safe do it at a planet or belt etc |

Or ... maybe people should report ISSUES with the patch in the ISSUE thread! They have a list of common known issues there, along with all those that have been fixed. It also helps if you actually post a bug report saying whats wrong etc |
