Think i might try this out... dps is kinda low 351 but 2 med and 3 light nuets and 378 omni dps tank plus 84 ehp makes it look like a solid ship...
you could go pure passive for tank and add more tackle mods to keep them in range of the neuts...

You really should be using a third EANM instead of a RAH unless that module got a buff this week I wasn't aware of |

Adding buffer on active setup is kinda common. Plate's buffer allow you back up on it if you're neuted and provide additional time before you pop (meaning additional time for repper to do the job aswell) if you aren't.
Whether it's worth additional mass and how it's effective cap wise when compared to a setup with more repping or resistances is up to debate, and so is usage of reps over fully passive tank too. |

Nice setups they look promising but I prefer more resistances on a rep tank especially as it has a 800mn plate |

I used this fit to great fun and success yesterday. Found a suspect in a Myrm and had a nice 1v1. Fryed his cap quickly and then let my drones do the rest of the work. Since I'm not doing PvP on a regular basis and tbh have more ISK on my loss page than on my kills, it was very exciting to score such a kill :D
Anyway, here's the link http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=16458963 Was kinda surprised him being shieldtanked since I thought he would maybe use the new auxiliary armor repairer. So, I approve of neut prophecy working and being fun :) |

3rd EANM II is only better with all V comp skills and if you are receiving all four damage types, and even then it gives only about 1.75% higher resists.
Against 3 damage types RAH I gives you full 20%, while 3rd EANM II with max skills gives 14.75%. Against two damage types the RAH is twice as good, and if you face a poor sod with single damage type, it wins you the fight.

I find myself very much drawn to the new 800mm plates to go along with a repper (AAR) with the double mass reduction it got in 1.1.

Yes, but on a BC that usually just means tossing a 1600 onto an active fit. What he's got there is a buffer fit with a couple of reppers attached. thhief ghabmoef |

I would say that the OP's first fit should have 2 aux nano pumps and a single trimark. Make more use of the rep and resists by value-adding the aux nano's. This should leave you with +500DPS tank and still have 60-ish EHP. Taking submissions for "Trinkets friendly Advice Column" via evemail or private convo in-game. If he doesn't he doesn't have the PG for that, but that's a quick fix. If he needed more PG he could always downgrade the plates to meta 4 as well. But I agree. If doing a repping fit, fit to rep. |

It's common on BS where you take high volleys. You shouldn't do it on anything below that. On a cruiser it's letterly the difference on wether you wanna tank 200DPS or you wanna tank 400DPS (Not accurate)
You said something about neuts. unless you meet a pure neut boat, like Recon Ships, a neut domi, a Parasite Legion, or a Bhaalgorn they'll not neut enough from you, or they won't do enough DPS to kill your tank.
You won't find a ship that'll beat every other ship perfectly, you fit your ship against specific stuff. Don't aim for a 'maybe if i get attacked by a nado i won't survive' if you meet a nado you refit the ship or leave the fight. |
