For the younger players who don't know what the Money Shot was, the "look at" feature of the camera used to stay focused on the object for a handful of seconds after the object was destroyed. It was a great way to watch the fireworks of an exploding ship, catch a stunning screenshot, or capture excellent footage for videos. Some time ago, the Devs (god bless their patient souls) decided to change the "look at" feature so that the camera resets as soon as the object no longer exists. I haven't seen one of these requests in a while, so...
Devs, maybe you could consider bringing it back? The Money Shot is surely missed!

I don't miss it, as I was not around when it was - but I know what you mean, and would like this. The camera jumping back means you miss the big bang

Agreed 100%, they spent all that time making fancy explosions but basically only blaster boats can actually enjoy them.

Dont know the reason fo changeing it but i liked the delay, if there is a need for both make the view function have it as an option.
And in the longrun mabyie even add more options for our movie making peeps out there.
