Youve missed the point entirely, If the cyclone was better suited small gang pvp than that is what i would of invested in. Eve has always been about the strategy , thought process, and years required to perfect what ever trade u choose to ply in. When i started playing Eve, ships werent equal and it required a thought process to achieve your goals.

The point is if CCP is going to undo what you spent time and real money doing, they should re'imburse your skill points so have the option to re'invest them i the flavor of the patch

With a single med neut, youre not gonna cap out any competently fit BC - HAM Drakes, Plated Harby, Repping Myrms or Brutixes, Neut or HAM Proph or even a HAM Cyclone with XL-ASB. Whom can an Armor Cane reliably break?

With a single med neut, you can no longer 1 v/s X Cruisers, which most current Brawl BCs will easily manage. Any 2 of Mallers, Moa, Thorax, MedBlaster Vexors, Ruptures, competently brawl fit will tear the current Cane a new one.

Stop looking at the Cane in isolation. Relatively, to other BCs, its fraked.

- Cant brawl, period.
- Cant kite AS WELL AS the other BCs: Sure, its faster, with inferior gank and tank AND projection, grats you can run away
- Sure, Arty Fits enjoy their 3-4k Alpha niche, that's about it
- Damage selection makes the dps even lower

So what you gonna use your armor cane for? Frig killing? Might as well stick with the SFI, does it way better.



Wat? Better range than who? Blaster BCs? Cause the Harbinger and Drake are far better at damage projection than the Cane.

Seems like it's contest now who got more likes ? Guess what i don't care. But i actually care about balance. And part of balancing was nerfing BC's so they are not replacing both battleships and cruisers at thier roles.

If CCP would do what you are asking for ... they would butcher their own changes to cruisers. They would once again be left in hangars if BC's would receive buffs instead of nerfs. And would be that good ? I guess no. Atm you can finnaly use both cruisers and battlecruisers . And both are good and useful.

Melodramatic much? You lost a neut. QfuckingQ. Cane overshadowed everything. It was too good. Now it's in line with the others. Balanced game > imbalanced game.

See, you must have max engineering/powergrid skills. To do this fit, I need all 3 MACR I rig slots. The Medium Energy neut II seems like a waste now since you can't fit 2. Granted, I haven't jumped on my cane since a few days after retribution rolled out. I have been training a lot of skills to help with this during my break. I'll jump on EFT with my new skills to see what I can fit. If you don't have the neut fitted, Would it be possible to fit 425mm IIs?

I wasn't aware the ships needed to be balanced around all-skills-at-one.
