GTFO. An isk sink is something that costs isk, IE, takes away isk that is already in the game. Examples of this are: Skillbooks, Transaction taxes, Medical clone upgrades, Repairs.
Something that prevents or stifles isk flow into the game is NOT an isk sink. Examples of things that are not isk sinks: Ships blowing up. taxes on income. plex being destroyed.
If you don't even know the meaning of the words and phrases you are using, you are going to have a bad post. |

No, no, change the current mechanism of hisec taxing to be even more complex than the USA's. You only have to do it once a year, but you have to fill out twenty forms and carefully track your income. You have to pay taxes to the DED and to every faction in whose space you have made isk. Your agents could issue you W-40s! If you have lower-skill alts on the same accounts, they're your dependents (and oh yes, you have to file on every toon)! Don't have enough isk at the time to cover your taxes? Too bad, you go into debt and get chased by debt collectors in Enigmas. Your ships and modules start getting repossessed. CONCORD takes your POS and sells it to suicide gankers. Oh, and every so often the DED decides that you missed a tiny subclause and you actually owe them even more isk, even though you haven't been in hisec for the past five years. This will create great emergent gameplay in the form of accountants who may or may not scam you. |
