I just finished all the career agent quests and just wondering which corporation would be good to work for next to gain some standings. I heard great things about Lai Dai but just want to make sure before I move all my stuff from Lonetrek to The Forge. Thanks. |

That depends on the purpose of standing gaining.
If its for R&D datacores. Pick a corp with lots of R&D agents. If its for jumpclones. Pick one with a good medical bay coverage. If its for lower trade taxes. Pick the one where you like conduct your trading (Caldari Navy is good for this cause of Jita 4-4). If its for good missions. Pick one that has a couple of high level agents close together. |

Are sisters of eve epic arc also a good option to go? What do those missions get you to do? |

Sisters of Eve is a good primer that sends you all over the place. Highly recommended for a newer player. |

Seconding the SoE arc, it ties a lot of what you learn from the tutorials together and the rewards are fairly respectable isk wise, the biggest bonus is the substantial faction standing increase for the final 2 missions though.
Eve in a nutshell, it's you vs the universe, and everybody in it. |

Don't move all your stuff. Just move what you need as you need it.
It really is to early in the game for you to make a home just yet.
There are a lot of different ways to play the game. It will take some time for you to find what best suits you.
Around trading hubs is always a good place to have a home when you decide to have a home. But a lot of players have multiple homes.
If you stay in the training solar systems, the chances of getting asked into corporations is much higher. Those are the favorite hunting grounds for the newbie corporate recruiters.

You'll leave crap all over the galaxy - its how it works.
The SOE Epic mission is pretty good.
Apart from that, try lots of different things, and do more of what you enjoy. |

SoE Epic Arc is kind of a "tutorial".
It's not a real tutorial like the 5 career agents you just did, it's more of chain of missions (mostly combat related, but does include some couriers) that will make you familiar with the UI and all the things the career agents thought you.
And it will take you to all 4 faction space (Amarr, Caldari, Gallente and Minmatar) and thus will introduce you with different kinds of rats and just show you the different factions.
In the end of the of arc (50 missions) you get a decent faction standing boost for 1 faction of your choice. |

My vote would be the SoE epic arc, and then Caldari Navy like J'pol said.
Cheaper taxes in Jita can never hurt.
But don't think you have to do missions. They are a great way to learn the game mechanics and reasonable income.
But they are certainly not the best content in the game. Once you start to get bored of them, thats the time to try something new.

I'm in agreement. Do the SoE epic arc, and then do whatever you think you might like doing. There is lots to do and others have posted a handy chart that just needs to be posted again because it is just so awesome. What faction/corp you end up doing missions for really dosent matter that much. The only real exeptions i can think about exept what J'Poll already mentioned is that you need to be careful so the standings with the opposite factions dont get to low.
As an example if you end up doing missions for Minmatar you will loose standings with Amarr. If your standings become to low you will find your self with the faction navy shooting at you when you enter Amarr space. If you have settled on wanting to stay in empire for good this isent really much of a problem, but say you want to go to WH space you will often find that the exits are in Amarr space (because of the size) so suddenly you might have a problem.
The same goes for any corp that you end up joining. You join a corp located in Amarr space you most likely want to be able to do operations or similar with them, but as soon as you enter Amarr space you have the navy shooting at you which can be annoying to say the least.
Ofc there are ways around this. Most factions will have agents for the different races all over, you can simply avoid doing faction missions (if you dont do missions that targets Amarr they wont start to hate you as easely), wait for a WH that opens in another part of space, or simply ask your new corp members if they are willing to let you tag along for missions to grind standings with them. And ofc there are skills that can help recover the damage. Phoibe Enterprises official recruitment thread |

Thank you guys very much for all the help and input. The chart is especially helpful. I think I'll do SoE epic quests while training skills for science and industry. |
