Who says Supreme Drone Parasites for for 0.4 and below?
I am running the Level 4 Infiltrated Outposts Rogue Drone mission and had one SPD at the first gate and 3 SPD's at the second gate.
I happen to like the SPD's over the EPD's actually and don't consider this a Bug.
BTW... When you arrive at the second gate, your 'bounce' off the structure you warp into will determine if you insta-aggro the closest Drone group. When you fire on the first targeted Drone, the second closest group WILL Aggro. Best strategy here is to turn and run warp-aligned from these guys and start killing drones. My Torps and Cruises work well, as well as my two 250mm Rails.
Leave the SPD's for last as you will get out of range of their guns.

the only change at last patch was the infested ruins mission will only appear in 0.4 and below - there is nothing that says the other lvl4 drone missions cant be offered by agents in high sec.
ffs read the patch notes properly before filing bug reports and wasting GMs/DEVs time.

its probably a random thing as well some level 4 DS missions have random factional bosses ie dark blood and the big true sansha 4.5M BS sometiems u get them sometimes u dont.

i just dont think he realised that in DS missions its not really relvalant to sec status - perhaps they appear more often random wise in low sec - less so in high sec
Ie 10% chance in .8 sec and above on all those issued missions
20% of all those missions in 0.5-0.7 sec status
25% in 0.1-0.4 sec status systems
35% of all said missions in 0.0 systems
Just a guess though - silence the informant is the same slightly different ships in each mission

If I'm correctly interpreting what I've read, which I'm probably not, then I'm pretty sure it's only Silence the Informant that was changed to include Elite Drones as opposed to Supreme Drones depending on security status. The other missions remain the same.

This Post was not meant to be a Whine or Complaint, but an FYI... I guess. 
Anyway, when I reluctantly accepted the Infiltrated Outposts L4 Mission, I was surprised and very glad to see the first Supreme Drone Parasite. I, for one, enjoy the Rogue Drone missions and love the loot they drop.

Well, 3.3k of zyd, 100 morphite, and various other minerals is always nice

Question for you then if you accept the Silence The Informant mission in a 0.6 but the mission takes place in a 0.4 should you get the Elite or Supreme drones ?

I did Silence the informant in 0.6 system and i got 4 Elite droen parasites , they have changed the name but they are still as deadly , i didnt try it in low sec but i confirm that they do appear in high sec system.

they werent supposed to change the missions only the rewards.....that was the gist of the blog, wherever that went too.
if they have removed certain npc enemies - then that to me would seem a bug as they were supposed to just change the rewards, and that didn't include the loot.
anyone see that blog around still? its a level 4 mission and it took time for people to get there. stop acting like nerfing that they cant even fight tougher ships in higher security space is ok.
course i havent been reading everything to closely lately and could have missed another post on what they did to lvl 4's.

Its the Drones in certain missions that changed,
Rogue drone harrassment in 0.5 and above shouldnt have ANY SDP's anymore.
Silance the informant has had a SDP and a couple of other drones replaced with the EDP's.
Infested Ruins stil has a SDP in .5 and above at least.
Infiltrated Outposts is a NEW lvl4 mission, that contains SDP's in any sec system.
If you have one of these missions for a lvl4 agent in 0.5 or above and it doesnt conform to the above listings, then i would personaly bug report it.

I think the basic objection / thing they were trying to change was the ability to get morphite from a non-pvp zone, since its meant to be kinda the ultimate carrot on a stick to get people out to 0.0.

i just got that mission a day ago. I had 1 of the biguns in the first room and 4 in the second and about 30 smaller drones. They would all agro together xcept for like 5 drones and 1 of the supremes.
so far we went in there with a heavly tanked scorp and dem together and we lost both in les then about 20 sec.
shoudl i report or petition for this, it was a lvl4 and the guy that tried to help said its harder then anything hed every seen. it was ousualert

No, the mission is actually quite easy, but does take a bit of time.
All you need to do is get your range up to about 50km and pick off one of the groups (keep moving away), as their damage is pretty poor from that range.
If you got inta-aggrod however, petition it, as it seems to be a bit dodgy with 2 people jumping in and getting stuck on the structure.

The lvl 4 'Infiltrated Outpost' with the 4 x SDP's at the end also has this 'Marauder Drone' in the 1st group you agro (2nd lvl). Kill it first for it has 1 point of Warp Scramble Strength at 0.5km.
(Write this down 'Marauder Drone warp scrambles')
