Did anyone look at the fitting requirements of large t2 extenders vs t2 1600mm plates?

T2 Large Extender: PG440 MW, CPU: 115 tf, Shieldboost: 2100
 Best named T1 (F-S9): PG 400, CPU 80, Shieldboost: 1800

 T2 1600mm Plate: PG 575, CPU 33, 3360 Armor, -10% velocity
 1600mm Tungsten: 500, CPU 28, 3360 Armor, -10% velocity

You honestly believe that these fitting req's are balanced? The CPU need of the shield extenders is rediculous, there is no way to fit lots of those and using for instance Sieges on a Raven, but its damn easy to just strap on Plates and do it & that being a ship which has no PG. Not to mention that Cruisers can fit the 1600 plates pretty easily, but not large extenders due the high CPU needs. And whoever is screaming about dmg mods, tbh, if you fit a extender you wont be fitting any dmg mods cause you have no cpu...
Its quite simple really, the plates must have their PG needs increased so that they A: Cant be used on Cruisers and B: Actually have requirements that doesnt make them a strap on.
 Or
Make shield extenders be easier to fit as well. The fact that they give less bonus is balanced given the recharge of the shield, but not the requirements...

 Actually:
Caracal Navy Issue: 5 Arb heavy launchers, 10mn AB II, med shield booster II, Dread Guristas Shield Boost Amp, Large Shield Extender II, Cap Recharger II, Caldari Navy Control System, Local Hull Nanofiber, 2 PDS IIs

All this fits with about 85% CPU and 65% Grid used, so t2 large extender can easily fit on some cruisers. With Shield Management 4 I get about 5000hp shields which is more than a ferox i believe with better missile capabilities

Yes, on a ship with more CPU, using named launchers who use less cpu (not t2), using a shield amp which use less cpu than std (think 20 less than t2), using caldari navy controls which use only 24 compared to 40 cpu! YAY, you just spent 400 mio on a cruiser setup that I can kill with a amarr inty cause you dont have em hardener.

Anyway, yes you can fit it on some cruisers, but in most cases it will gimp the setup way outright. But my point was that the fitting requirements are way overdone on the extenders compared to plates. Though as this thread is about smaller plates etc I won't answer more about the larger ones.

Actually only cost me about 150m total for everything (agent offers and loot drops 4tw
