Here's a simple solution. Implement an in game module, function, or whatever, to detect when a player is afk. Maybe have an icon next to a player when he's afk, that indicates that he's afk.

No.
No.
No more game mechanics need to be introduced to protect the skittish pilots in this game. Harden the Frig Up, undock, go about your day.
If you can't tell by now who the "AFK" cloakers are, you're playing the game wrong.
I believe WoW and GW2 have these features. Go play them.

You can reinforce a pos. You can lock my assets in a station. What is it you can do to a cloaky camper? Oh that's right, nothing.
Whilst they are cloaked and camping, what can they do to you? Oh that's right, nothing.
I cannot believe I'm doing this, but I actually agree with something Mag's has said. It's a miracle or something.

A few tips if you want people to understand you:
Spelling - Even on the internet, it really is useful! Helpful for those times when you want people to focus on the point you're making instead of trying to decipher what you wrote.
Punctuation - Commas (,) and periods (.) do exist. They break up your monolithic run-on sentence according to thoughts and subjects, allowing the rest of us mere mortals more easily understand the point you're trying to make.
I said "a few", which implies three or more. Sadly, I don't have a third suggestion except to read the first two suggestions again.
Now with all of that out of the way, let me just say this: If nullsec is too nerve-wracking for you and your five accounts, then perhaps you should go to lowsec or highsec where cloaking as an act of aggression is not a problem. Don't just go around presuming yourself to be some special supernova of importance just because someone who's not blue is in-system and cloaked. You're in nullsec. HTFU or GTFO. If you want to cry about game mechanics working as intended, come to highsec. You can cry all you want there and nobody will stop you because nobody will hear you over the noise of all the other people who are crying about mechanics that work as intended.
I thought nullsec players were supposed to be "hardcore" or "elite" or something. Boy, am I ever disillusioned... |

Raven DarkSouless wrote:you really want a solution..... force log off after 15min without input, simple camera pan to reset timer, there takes care of cloaky, gate camps, and afk miners we can all be happy,
this...simple and effective...but also limits your cigarette breaks haha
this also eliminates afk miners, unless bots are programmed to mimic input movement heeeeheheheh
