If you're attacking someone's cognitive abilities, you should probably learn the difference between "grieving" (usually a victim does this) and "griefing" (this creates said victims).

And on top of this, if this is a scam, then where are the requests for money or any sort of capital? Correct me if I am wrong, but a scam requires some sort of physical entity to be parted from the victim's possession and into the scammer's possession. I have not seen any sort of shenanigans yet. All I have seen is them asking for details on the scam, how much was lost, etc. etc., nothing that is of real value. True, it could be a scam later down the line, but with a little vigilance, you'll be fine.
And if this is for tears, then there are better ways to get that. Hell, KFC uses tears on their chickens to make them taste better (trufax), so tears are easy to come by.

No, I wouldn't expect anything like that. If Goons are good at one thing, it's long drawn out and patient scams. It doesn't even need to be for assets - they could be harvesting stories which can be used later for all I know. I just know one thing: Goons simply are not honest people. None of them are and for them to just suddenly do a full 360 and become respectful is downright against their entire mentality as reddit kids who'll do anything for tears.

This thread is another reason why I am actually very surprised that goonswarm members at fanfest are never shot or beaten to death. I'm not sure I'd be able to hold back if I had been scammed out of 1.86b (or whatever the number was). I'd be breaking bones if I knew leadership was there.
