Dmian	Posted - 2006.11.29 15:22:00 - [35] yes... Yes. YES! This I'd like to see it implemented. Alien invasion is a classic in every sci-fi book/film/game. I remember with special affection the Invids in Robotech (Inbits in the original). The outer-threat is a good path in a storyline and could redefine the whole game, making it more interesting. The Disturbing neighbour... Let's imagine that a new natural wormhole appears at an unexplored edge of the galaxy. Suddenly some alien ships start to protroud from it, stablishing in an unexplored system. The wormhole collapses, as happened before. The aliens (a non-humanoid race) makes no contact with any of the existing races. They start to expand and colonize the galaxy, attacking corporations, destroying stargates and suplanting the structures with their own technology. Then they stop, making a frotier in the gallaxy and randomly attacking trespassers or near stations. It could be a quest for other races to erradicate them from the galaxy and lern the alien technology. A variation could be rebellious robots. Or an unknown disease. But I favor the alien race. I hope the developers take these ideas into account. I belive it could really spice-up the gameplay. Regards, D.

What makes you think some kind of alien faction would be more interesting? I don't see any reason to introduce inhuman things when we've already got Sanshas and Blood Raiders and all kinds of semi-psychotic organizations running around out there. Just have the Guristas make a play for Lonetrek or something. Aliens are total weaksauce. -------------- Civis Ascendant Sum
