Hello,
I am a fairly casual Eve player for a few years now, and I just read about your amazing heist from "Titans 4 you". First of all let me say congratulations, just amazing stuff.
And secondly I would love to know a bit of the inside story; did you plan on creating the additional 600 shares or was that just serendipity?
Did you build all the Titans for Pandemic Legion?
Did you ever feel like "Oh, I don't know if I can do this!" Did your hands shake when you logged in and saw the new shares?
Do you still have the whole 1000 shares?
Did the game get boring after all was said and done? I mean what the heck could you do to top that!
Anyway, thanks for your time.
This is a youtube playlist going over my first 30 ship losses. Video sucks but the audio came out well. There are some good lessons, and if you know the game there's some funny stories. |

Well because I thought the opportunity to salt up some old wounds might make for better material. And this way I not only get his signature, I get yours as well, and .02 ISK to boot!

there are different tiers of bad bobby fanbois - you're still scrub tier so you have to ask in MD.
aim for TLEAF tier to get answers to your questions.

..I 100% support this thread. I really like your motives: let's rub salt in EVERY MD wound!
In ANY other game, that heist would have been reported and rectified right away, and would be forgotten immediately. In Eve? The scam is highlighted, praised, and used as a method to bring new players to the game.
Kudos to you OP. |

Not sure if Bad bobby still does autographs for scrub tier, The quick way to tell, id to send Bad bobby a picture of your(OP) neckbeard (he only signs neckbeards) along with a nice letter explaining why your new and Don't know the details.
If you are lucky he will use a red marker. (which means you are 3rd in line for next tier of course) I've accidentally swallowed some Scrabble tiles. My next **** could spell disaster.

Anyway, thanks for your time. And again great job! As Bad Bobby's 2nd alt in this thread, I can finally reveal the answers: 1. I planned it all. 2. Yes. 3. No. 4. Each of those shares is worth 10m. Send ISK to this character. 5. I still need to get my standings up with the Gallente. |

As a memento, I might be interested in some shares under the price in point 4 ... but Im sure there would be no hard feelings if I got a third party to hold the money ;) |

Corey Fumimasa wrote:did you plan on creating the additional 600 shares or was that just serendipity? I didn't have any plan for scamming at the outset. The idea of creating extra shares came about because people started making a fuss in the T4U thread about the trustees all being AFK. The shareholders gave me the cover under which I could execute the heist and be blameless up until the point it was too late for anyone to stop me. Obviously having Cosmoray's shares as well as my own was a great help.
Corey Fumimasa wrote:Did you build all the Titans for Pandemic Legion? No. That's a lot of Titans and they came from diverse sources. I was involved in only a small number of them.
Corey Fumimasa wrote:Did you ever feel like "Oh, I don't know if I can do this!" I was unsure about doing it. Only two other people knew about it before it happened. I talked it over with them and came to the decision that it was better to do it than regret the missed opportunity.

While I don't have the drive to attempt a bigger MD scam, simply because of the amount of work it would take to do it, I still have plenty of other things I enjoy doing in EVE.
PvP always has been and will continue to be my main activity.
Having a lot of isk also gives you access to a level of market/industry activity that the average player doesn't really get to see. It's not like the isk closes doors and leaves you without things to do. I would need tens of trillions before I could even complete my current list of long term market/industry plans and that list will keep growing. |

The Thread is a monster, but a great read, I'm working through it now. It is also interesting to come back after some time and look at things again in a different light and venue.
That adventure is one of the most telling stories in Eve; it is about human nature and luck and guts and really the truth of the world in a way. There's a lot more parallel's between the story of T4U and RL, than FiS combat and RL at any rate.
So thanks again for revisiting an interesting topic and for being so candid about your role and how you felt during the event, its a great study on the human condition.

Its a game Ji, like chess or poker or tic tac toe, someone wins and someone doesn't. I guess Eve is different in that the rules are less clear. But honestly it is a game about having other players there to take advantage of mistakes, that is what makes it challenging. BB played his part well, nothing less.
And the funny thing is you can trust him just as much now as you could before.

Bob talked pretty openly about how things happened. It sounds like some of the other people here were actually affected by his actions. I didn't expect that, it was long enough ago that I thought it would all be water under the bridge. Can anyone speak openly about what it was like to be on the other side during the few days it took to secure the BPO's?
I received one of the shares from T4U, there were 108000 created. Was that done after the fact? Were those full voting shares or just investment markers?
