I am getting tired of hearing about and noticing CCP developers and GM's playing EVE on private accounts and using there knowledge if not thier code access to basically cheat. I have sent CCP emails about this and there reply is "Sorry we cannot prevent our employees from playing". This is quite simply a lie, CCP could by contract prevent them from playing and should (the answer is not surprising as it surely came from one of those same employees). I have heard and seen the results of this problem throughout the game and the latest is about to much to take. It appears a CCP employee has been handing out very rare blue prints, the kind you cannot buy or would cost you in the Billion credit area. Is this true or false ?? I dont know I suspect its true but of coarse CCP can say nothing accept that it is false. The point hear is that there is no Integrity why should I spend 2 to 6 months of my time and effort working to get something when some CCP employee will just be handing out something better to thier preferd corporation that happens to have thier "Private" account in it. I have a nice screen shot of a corp chat with at least 3 CCP GM's in it yet CCP says they cannot reveal who they are in the game on thier private accounts, then how did these GM's Know to join together? How would you feel getting into a war with that CORP well you are guaranteed one thing you will loose. CCP states they will directly interfear with the game to affect game balance and playability OK you may or may not agree with this but I do not think any clear thinking person can agree that this is in anyway credible or nonbiased when the very ones interfearing are also the ones playing. For example a few patches ago the priority was to cut back on weapons damage (a nerph I think we call it) well that is nice but how about fixing things like being able to have bookmarks or items vanishing oh no this is not important what must be done is weapons balancing. Now coincidence that this happened just after Moo posted a screen shot of a GM's frozen corps I think not, So at best we are getting a bad service as priorities are shifted to things the "Playing" GM's dont like more realistically the game has no legitimacy or integrity and we are fundamentally all rats in a maze where CCP will open and or close pathes to us not even in the benefit of game play but most likely for thier own person gain and enjoyment. I like being someones toy very little and alot less when I am also asked to pay for the service of being that toy. So have fun and learn to enjoy playing second fiddle because unless your in a GM's corp (and we all know wich ones they are) you will always be playing second fiddle more likely last fiddle.

LOL hey einstien, where those BP's your so ****y about given out durring an EVENT?
CCP has said that events will be one way such items are distributed. Be honest man, this is your first MMOG isn't it?
Dev's GM's whatever actually PLAYING the game is a very common thing, and is part of what makes the games popular and full of content (well as full as they are anyway).
People have been begging for more GM's Devs and polaris people to get involved in the game, so long as it's not to play to win for themselves... And if they do play to win for themselves I'm sure they arn't allowed to play that way with thier uber character, and must play with some alt...
But for GM events or normal GM style activity I expect them to use whatever they wish.
so yeah If that blueprint ever was handed out, I seriously hope it was handed out in a GM event, also maybe the BP was to replace something a player lost to a bug?
Do you even pay attention to the game?

huh?
So in a nutshell you're saying that:
"You work for the company so you can't play the game you're developing/tuning/fixing!"
How the Hel are they supposed to see what areas need to be addressed? Sometimes Chaos isn't enough, they need to hit the mainstream masses.
And careful what you call cheating, others might call strategy. ;)
Don't be preposterous of course they can play.

I think it appears that some corps are getting things handed to them, but I also think it ONLY appears that way. I don't think that it is actually happening.

I would prefer it if every dev played this game non-stop. The more that play the more they see what work needs to be done and how best to fix the game.

listen Einstein, the devs aren't that stupid.
If it ever came out (and it always does) that they had given anyone an unfair advantage in this game, the biggest load on their servers for the next few days would be from the "CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION" button.
Now, do you really think they would jeopardize <ispell> years and years of work just to have their playing corps prosper? Not likely, Einstein.

ooppps did not work out as planned :( sorry for makin people read that rubbish again :( anyhow
i was saying dont post crap you cant prove. think about it they work together posably friends too so y not join up in the game.
there would be only m0o playing a lonly game now if the devs did not step in to control known exploits and possable bugs leading to massive damage from one shot upto and beyond 1000 per lazer so i have read in the posts.
and again sorry about prev post :(

Is it just me, or are people starting to run out of things to whine about?
Of COURSE CCP aren't going to reveal the names of their chars... GOOD GOD, HOW DUMB CAN YOU GET? They woulnd't even be able to play the game with the constant chat windows trying to open, people trying to pod them just for fun, etc.
Accusing CCP and GMs of cheating on their player accounts... that's low, and only shows your ignorance.
I hope a mod closes this useless thread.
