The current drop rate of loot is not just crazy, its flat out broken. Its almost to the point of not worth playing the game.
I don't like to mine and I'm not a crafter. I like to hunt. But I joined this game to late to enjoy the rare loot drops and the prices to buy are now way to high. Heck, have you looked at the trade channel recently, good loot is so rare, its not even being sold anymore. The new system has made haves and have nots.
I cannot compete with the gear of someone that started the game a week before me. I know this is a MORPG and those that come first have an advantage, but the game is not even two months old yet. I started 3 weeks after the game did.
To make things worst you have grifters that have all the best gear. Gear I don't have access to. They have very effectivly bottled the newbies in the low lvl sectors by camping the bottle necks in the travel lanes. We are trapped and they think nothing of shooting pods.
If you want to fix the loot drops and please the crafters, then please just use common sence. Not made up guessing numbers. Put the loot back to the way it used to be so new players may stick with the game more than a month. Then, start introducing this tech lvl 2 loot I hear about throught the crapters at what ever rate makes the crafters happy.
This way I will have a CHANCE at a lvl playing field, those that started aheaad of me will still be ahead given the wealth they have acummilated off this messed up ecomomic system and crafters can start making the tech 2 stuff thus their goods are worth buying at the inflated prices.
Hunting may acually be fun and the game worth playing.
My free month just ranout, infact it ran out today I think. This game has real potential and I would like to play it for awhile.
But if it stays this onesided, with no hope of ever catching up, then its a waste of my time and I wont pay for a second month.
Oh, and to the guy that keeps posting that the lot table is not broken and keeps spouting numbers like that are facts when even he says he is guessing, you obviously are a crafter and don't hunt rats often. I made 5 million in bounties over the weekend hunting cruisers, AND NOT ONE RARE DROP!!!
