Dont try and fool anyone, crusader is a slower ship then claw without any modules or modifiers. they both have the same amount of low slots. mass does not affect top speed, only acceleration. Therefore the claw is the faster ship.
you get an F for effort and an F for noobs.
This crusader is most definately NOT eves "fastest" ship.
If you tested it by your self as well.
By just owning those mods.
And make a honest judgement cause you able to.
Noob for economics.
Noob for testresults.

I haven't played for long, but i can tell you something.
a) EVE doesn't have "realistic" physics. For example, in real world: if you were in space and put your thrusters on, you'd gain speed all the time. And then if you stopped your thrusters, your ship would still move forward at constant speed (includes not slowing)
b) in EVE, mass does affect the topspeed of ab'd ship (I guess it affects mwd too) Try getting a dessy, and put a 1MN ab and 10MN ab, then try the same with a cruiser or hauler. If you have a huge ship, 1MN thrust doesn't do much.
(u get an F from "friendliness", or I guess u have "social" lvl 0 ?)

right i have just spent the last 8 hours with two friends who fly the ships in question, have paid them for the mods u have so called got and have tested the ships, straight line and circles, the crusader lost by 5 seconds on the circle but however was the fastest on the *line* run, so i guess ur argument doesnt really have a winning point
take it as u will

Some test results of a Magnate-vs-Interceptor.
Stock Silver Magnate base speed is 425 m/s - mass is 1,000,000 kg
w/4x local hull overdrivews it cruises at 736 m/s
w/gisti a-type mwd its only 6576 m/s
Ares - w/same setup cruises at 769 m/s and the mwd = 6488 m/s - The Ares is faster, untill you turn on the MWD.
Sadly I have no Crusader to test with. But it would be even faster.

Id like to see the forum admin clean this thread up. If you guys dont want it, dont waste the thread *****ing about it. And tbh i cant see how its overpriced due to the rareity of the overdrives for starters and ur paying for the convenience. I personally have no interest in racing so i wont be bidding lol but dont take the micky eh.

You can't build this package, the overdrives are factional and they are fairly rare.

its just stupidly over priced, faction mods or not, together tbh it aint worth it, unless ur a certified racer its not worth it, so u do around 150 more than a shuttle under base without ods activated, or in my case my shuttles do 600m/s so u do 15 m/s so how exactly unles sthe mods are activated is this worth 500mil?
and dont flame me, im entitled to my opinion :D

I got my claw up over 9,700m a second, you must have poor skills, it was with only a Gistii MWD and named overdrives, no dominaion ones... I hoped in my Crusader and i went slower too...but it was quite a long time ago, i cant find the picture showing the claw just the speed i put on photobucket..
