i cant find anyone who remebers this feature or know if it is still in the game because i dont remeber how to do it...
you used to be able to use your MAP to display market info on a sertain item such as pyrite.. for example..
ud tell your map to display pyrite "selling" info and the RED would be where it was selling the highest and the "light yellow" would be where its selling the cheapest...
so... my question is DOES ANYONE REMEBER THIS!! and does it still exist!!

I do remember that feature, tho it's been a while now already (I think it was with Exodus or so.
As far as I'm aware that Map-Feature is gone with the new market/Type browser thing. But I honestly never really missed it as I already used tab view back then as often as possible as it holds all necessary Information.

I don't remember it ever displaying that information for more than the region your in, and if that's all you're looking for there's a better system now. Just open up your market and look at the details for the item, it will show you every system in the region selling and buying. You can sort this information by price, number of jumps, quantity etc.

Never saw something like that, was it an early beta thing? I remember this red/yellow/green display system in the market view, displayed for a whole region at a time, but never one for the map itself.

Your memory is playing tricks on you. At release, you were able to display a star-coloured view of a single region in the market window, which showed good prices in green, bad in red, and the size was dependent on the volumes present.
This only ever worked for a maximum range of your current region.

Hmmmm taht might be true on the region thing i havnt played for like 2 years heh so... but at least i know im not crazey now

It got kilt with exodus....New market is far better for searches(when it works).
Free-form Professions, ensure no limetations on professions. Be a trader, fighter, industialist, researcher, hunter [i]pirate[/i] or mixture of them all.
