This is a bit embarrassing, but it's sorta funnny.
I was exploring some unusual configs (this is something I enjoy doing on a variety of ship platforms) on a Brutix yesterday in .2 space, and I happened across the good folks from SNIGG. Er rather, they happened across me. 
The three pilots in the log files were Verone (Crusader), Drosssk (Vagabond), and Gordon Freeman (Crow). There may have been others, but that's all I had in my log.
As in true pirate fashion, it was fast and brutal. They warp in, and before I knew it I was scrambled (Verone), and considering I didn't really have much lock success, I think they may have been jamming as well (guys?). The 'experimental' config I was messing with at that moment was based on 280mm artillery (ya ya, I know  ). I had a 1600mm plate and some other stuff. I happened to have 2 ogres on board as well. The Arty was pretty useless as they were under 2k and moving fast. Here's the funny part: a Serpentis Baron mob spawned and was blasting at me too. I didn't realize this until I read the logs later that night; in the confusion of the moment I thought there were 4 SNIGG dudes.
It's an EVE nightmare; SNIGG has a new custom YARR module that charms MOBS vis a vis Everquest and well...(snivel snivel, whine, nerf nerf) 
Anyway, I think I may have scratched somebody with the ogres, but other than that it wasn't pretty. I got clobbered and it was fun. I had to laugh...especially at the Serpentis thing. The only part that hurts a wee bit is the $$$ I lost on the Brutix, but it was insured and I had just updated my clone so everything worked out.
One of the SNIGG dudes tried to convo me, but I blew it off...not trying to be rude, it's just that I'm the 'go down fighting' type, there's really nothing to negotiate. Besides, getting podded is faster than flying all the way home. LOL.

Nice to see someone take it in stride, and not whine. Or not too much .
Learn from it, and get them next time .

We had another guy a jump out in an Ishtar, But he was too much of a slow ass to arrive there.
It's nice to see a friendly response towards us that clears up the wondering of why you kept rejecting convos from Drosssk.
It was a good fight, and luckily I got it all on fraps so hopefully it'll feature in my next vid when I get round to putting it together  .
Just out of interest, was the guy in the Enyo with you who warped to the belt, or was he just passing and thought he could help?

That was a Coreli Corpmate in the Enyo, I think he bumped into you guys first looking for some belt rats, just before you got me. We were hopping belt to belt looking for stuff; I was testing my Franken-Brutix loadout on some NPC cruiser spawns to work out the kinks.

Ok, my time to be a jackass but really....
There was no need to post this topic at all. You got killed...so what?
NPCs spawned and shot at you while getting killed, who cares?
You thought it was funny, no one else did. Dont get upset by my post but there is no need to post a topic about you dying to pirates saying how you enjoyed it and such.
Sure it flatters them but between the ore thief topics and these type topics this forum is just getting crappier and crappier by the minute.

I agree..heh.. they just love to pat each other on the back. I am starting to believe these posts are from the Pirates second accounts, trying to convince us that being killed by a Pirate is soooo coooolllll!

If you folks don't want to read these kind of accounts, then don't read them. But don't get on here bashing some guy for being a good sport. It shows a want of character. If you really have a problem with pirates, make sure it's YOU killing THEM.

I've been sitting here reading the last few posts, and laughing all the way I can't believe people are getting so worked up over such a simple thing. I mean nobody can force you to read a post you don't want to, so just don't read it. Live and let live as it were.
