Why is m0o outside a station?
Oh, did you forget to mention the numbers of the battle? I do think so.
During the whole course of the night it was a simple factor of ships. 4 vs 1. All night long. Thats why we chose were we wanted to fight, no one can win against those odds. However, we can kill a few cruisers / mortally wound bships. It's not cheap to fix them.

Bships can be mortally wounded but repaired free of cost... just use modules Ywew 
And about the numbers.... since when is every ship u face supposed to be as good as you??
Many ppl that you face just replaced miners for guns and joined... they don't count as 1 if they are fighting veteran, totally trained for battle, like pirates... Don't say 4 vs 1, but 2 or 3 vs 1 and i'll say ok... you might be right.

The CNX fleet had frigates and support cruisers doing scout and etc work. Infact most of our cruier losses were due to them playing scout but we did use them in the battles.

Well in the end Moo still held the system but at the cost of an Apocalyse Battleship. CNX & friend losses were 2 blackbirds, 1 osprey and 1 Thorax. We Also blew up a scorpion that attacked us but now not sure whose it was.
About 20mil loss on CNX side vs 100mil loss on Moo, not to mention whatever rare equipment there was on the apoc. You can draw your own conclusions.
