I have closed two accounts in the last year or so. I just closed my last account after 7 years, That makes 3. I really would like to know if you really pay attention to players who have been with you for a long time trying to play a casual game. You know like myself who have spent alot of real money. Dollars!! To play this game. However CCP seems to only pay attention to those who want only PVP. You have destroyed mining. It started with invention. I worked for months to buy and train to pilot a hulk. It cost me 500 million ISk. Then you added invention and Hulk Prices dropped to 120 million hulk. Did I get a rebate. NO! Not to mention all the time to train Learning. Then you dropped that. Now you have screwed up the Hulk and others with your changes. You are making EVE too complicated to play. And yes I know I am not supposed to post here with this, with all your forum rules your forums seem useless for constructive dialogue. I seems it indicates that CCP really does not want to know.

CCP has a chance to address the issue and save a subcription with maybe a few words...

They could just let an isd lock the thread for ranting.
I have bets on the latter.

Wait, you complain that they drop hulk prices, and that they simplify the game by taking out learning skills? FYI, CCP is refactoring and simplifying the game, and has been for some time.
Also, 500m is a large sum of isk after 7 years of playing?
It sounds like you got ganked and are coming up with reasons to complain. I hate to tell you, but Eve is not a casual game. Still, even with the occasional ganks to worry about, mining is absolutely braindead, even compared to other MMO wack-a-mole experiences. What do you want, mining ships to fly themselves? I can't imagine mining getting any more casual. |

It's too bad that you seem unable to adapt to changes. CCP buffed the hulk and made the other mining ships better, so I say they do listen. They don't change the game based on one player's view, but many. They don't just listen to PVP'rs -but understand that this is a pvp game no matter where you are or what you do you are affected by it, and the market is driven by it. So of course a huge part of what they do has to do with PVP.
So your enjoyment of the game is gone and you are moving on out of frustration. Can I have your stuff?

I'm quitting too. I accidentally(drunk) bought a shuttle for 14mil in Jita. Did CCP step in and offer me a rebate? NO! Eve is getting too complicated.
