I'm doing some Lv. 3 and Lv. 4 missions to get standing toward a specific corp, but I don't want to get my faction standing too much f**ked up. So I'm wondering if I can skip the storyline missions without faction/corp loss. Does anybody know if the 4 hour no-standing-loss timer works for storyline agents as well (so I can skip them all)?

Edited by: Altaireus on 11/08/2005 20:04:13 you wont get a standing penalty by skipping a storyline mission, just let the mission offer expire, i do it all the time.

Just as an addition:
My storyline mission ran out (lv. 1) and I got a -0.0252 standing hit towards to the corp who offered the mission. But I took no faction standing hit.

Faction-Hit: are you sure?
I did ignore 2 missions and found no hit for ignoring.

What i found not long ago is that you dont get a hit for refusing the missions - so you maybe try that next time

I can confirm this. It just happened to me by letting an important mission expire. AFIK this is new since I got back last week (was away since June). Never used to happen before.
I will try refusing one and see if it happens with refusals also.

I can now confirm this also. Refused another mission that i had pending instead of letting it expire like the last one. I did not take a hit to corp standing this time.
So, I guess we have to actually refuse the missions now. Having to travel to the agent to refuse it is a minor pain in the arse, but it's better than taking the hit.
