What are your favourite bits of music from the video games you have played?
It may not come as a surprise but my favourite is this:
Metal Gear Solid 2 Theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiPon8lr48U
With my second favourite just cutting short
Grim Fandango Companeros: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jT4A-MSQgoI
I'm also very fond of the Legend of Zelda music and Mass Effect! What about you? I love to reload during a battle!-áThere's nothing like the feeling of slamming a long silver missile into a well greased chamber... |

The level up song from old school Final Fantasy games. I've been programmed like Pavlov's dog to automatically be happy every time I hear it. "Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats." -H.L. Mencken |

SimCity 4's soundtrack is amazing. This stuff i can still listen to without the game. Seriously, it's awesome! It's pretty cool you can hear some of those tunes in the civ stage in Spore.
Total Annihilation should be noted as the "breakthrough performance" of Jeremy Soule.
FX Fighter Turbo - A very underground game, one of the early 3D fighters and one of the first games with hardware acceleration (all hail the S3 Virge!) - though it was pretty bad, really. The soundtrack though, is still really, really good.
Diablo 2's music is quite haunting and should not be forgotten: One of those things that made the game what it was.

Well that one's easy. To the Moon obviously. They blew all their money on music and then made the game with RPG maker. The game has no choice but stand on story and music alone. Which it manages. Does anyone know a good website to upload loudouts too that doesn't try to sell me plexes in between every line? |
