u should be able to catch a pod b4 it warps out.. if not tuff luck tbh, wouldnt be much point in the bounty going on the ships coz that means if he changed ships u bounty would change ^^ and bountys are put on the HEADS of the pilots not the debris of the ships.

Sure, I also demand low security sentries are removed and that when I target haulers their engines cut out and they drop their shields.

If he doesn't log out, you can catch the pod with a sensor boosted inty. If he does log out, you can use scanprobes to get him (15 minute PvP timer). -- Proud member of the [23].

Then put a few more sensor boosters on your cruiser?
Or get a friend to help.

I usually just get "**** OFF DIONYSUS" if I miss the pod and nothing good is dropped. I demand better loot tables on players.

So, basically, what is needed is a SmartBomb that deals no damage, but scrambles everything in the radius for like 10 seconds (skill dependent). Maybe a webber bomb too?

Aye same here, never had a problem with locking pods in an Enyo with no sensor boosting equipment installed.
The bounty is on the head of a villan and thats where it should stay :)

Fair Nuff!
It, however, does seem hard to pod people that don't get lagged out. My main, who will most likely remain silent on these forums, as he isn't a pirate, has yet to be podded. I am strongly engaged in Empire wars with him, but havn't yet been ransomed by [SNIGG], or anyone of talent for that matter, considering i gave up mining within my first month of EVE.
But, Necro, to be fast enough to scramble pods in a Deimos? Does it require sacrificing a mid-slot webber for a sensor booster? It only has 3 mids, so Im assuming the promary use would be Webber II, 8k Scrambler II, and 10MN MWD II.
I used to fly intercepters extensively, and still had trouble consistantly scrambling pods. maybe this is the wrong place to ask for that kind of advice.
Happy Hunting.

No, no sensor booster. Takes a good 8 or 9 seconds to lock. 80% of people just sit there is what i'm saying. Even "experianced" players. In 0.0 it's abit less.

Ooh, sorry, i forgot the "I'm Retarded and want a short, expensive ride home" factor.
The empire wars i was in, the only way you got a pod was to either be extremely quick and hope for their lag, or double smartbomb them (not smart if loot alts are around).
