Dear CCP.
We have drones out the wazzo for everything from busting rocks to tackling but no salvage drones i know this is a combat driven game but how about some love for us guys in the back lines cleaning up the mess.
Help us keep Space Clean

Otherwise, the time it takes to click, send and retrieve salvage drones would probably be much slower and more work intensive than just using a skilled Noctis pilot.
it speed up the clean up process even with a noctis sure aggressive then the noctis can go tractor happy and let drones do the salvaging, or if your in a mining op to clean up rats be great in incursion were you dont want to take a noctis |

Mining ores dont really exist until they appear in the cargo bay.
salvage does however.
what that makes no logical since salvage is the same as ore i think your thinking about loot, salvage pops in to your hold same way is ore and shots out a can with the loot in it

Salvage drones would make the noctis obsolete. They would even go a long way to make missioning obsolete. Salvage drones might be okay if:
-velocity and cycle times comparable to a T1 mining drone, and the 'access difficulty bonus' of a T1 salvager but does not gain any bonuses from any skills modules rigs or implants whatsoever.
-it is a T2 drone with a target cost of about 1 mil each. Perhaps make it a "composite" drone, requiring a T2 mining drone, a T2 salvager and T2 salvage rigs to build.
-it requires the skills that it's composite parts require, plus advanced drone interfacing 5.
-they can be shot down freely without otherwise needing aggro rights.
If you're gonna make a suck-ass new drone, make it suck ass appropriately.
no need for a t2 version i am talking turn a t1 miner in to a salvager thats it no super savagers of DOOM

wow so you want them to be handy caped and useless
iam saying t1 or t2 make them as functional as a slavager theres plenty of place they would come in handy and they would not make a noctis useless since they would drop to your hold give noctis a drone bay |

lazy has nothing to do with it, you'd still have to loot wrecks and once again there are places were its to dangerous to risk a noctis have 2 ,3 salvage drones on your BS or BC when your out. and from personal exp the noctis sucks when your trying to blitz thorough lvl 3-4 missions with a large group of people you need 2-3 of them to keep pace. leave to people to take something to the extreme because its not what they would do. if you enjoy runing back and forth to change ships or wating on the noctis to catch up then groovey. this not a replacement for a noctis since at most your be able to use 5 at once on a Bs or BC and you have to have space for salvage those less ammo (unless your amarr) it all ready has its trade offs
and i looked they were planed to be T1 drones
and NO THERE BLOODY NOT FAST ENOUGH ITS NEVER FAST ENOUGH |

if thats the only place you wouldnt take a noctis your missing alot of eve,
and if thats your argument then you should be able to only fit salvagers on a noctis. drone would not replace a noctis
your thinking way to much into this iam talking simple drones to help out yes you still be waiting on them so what and as far as your dps vs salavger comment i take it you solo alot . its no diffrent then haveing your suport ships with the 30 other drones to clean up behind you. and in large scale engagements a noctis is nothing more then another target unless its cloacked and sitting off i the sidelines.
