Does anyone else think the rax looks like a willy? The resemblance is really quite uncanny, especially when highlighted by the sun.

There's a pre-designed pink (Ares-red) Thorax in the game code. Actually, there's a lot of predesigned stuff in the game code, especially if you installed from the release CD.

The wang appears to be the chief design inspiration for a lot of Gallente ships. If you've ever seen the ancient CCP racial concept sketches for Gallente males, you'd pretty much understand why.
Looking at a Dominix from a certain angle = wang.
Thorax = wang.
Incursus = vaguely wang-tip-like.
Megathron = has bait and tackle.
Iteron Mk1-5 = wang.
