Hey guys,
Has anyone else received an error when registering that gives an error saying:
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 4 [1064]
An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.
=========================================================================== It still successfully registers the person upon giving the error, and they can log in the forum successfully, but I am trying to hunt it down to see what I did wrong.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
EDITED TO ADD: I notice that avatars aren't correctly being shown... could this have something to do with it? |

Confirming that I also have all the SQL entries in as directed, and still have this bug:
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 4 [1064]
An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.
=======================================
That error comes up I have found at two specific things that can be replicated:
1. On a new forum account creation when you hit Submit (the account is still created though) 2. When you try to add in a Teamspeak 3 UID into your profile manually and hit submit (the UID box remains empty upon submitting)
I am not a coder, but I suspect that means this has something to do with the Teamspeak 3 module.
I'm available whenever you like for a Teamviewer session.
Thanks! |

That's because you didn't assigned a group to your members. Maybe it's scripting error , but all you have to do is: 1. Create another Group, ex: Members 2. Go to EVE API Module -> Corporation -> Assign forum group -> Choose Member Group.
I had the same problem, and it's working now .
Tried that, good idea... didn't fix my problem though. My problems still remain. |
