Ok if you cant beat them, I guess you just humor them. I would like to buy a Thorax class cruiser. I will buy from the lowest bidder, with some consideration given to distance I would have to travel if delivery not included. Please post bids here, both for pick-up, and for delivery, as well as distance from nearest highway system on pickup location. I've already had bids of 5 mil from some "entrepeneurs" so im just checking to see if anyone wants to beat that. Here's the chance for all those "time doesnt matter" producers to get a sale! Cmon folks get out your scissors its time to price cut!

Come on now... for days I've been hearing people say that they can sell below NPC mineral value and not care because they are having fun. Where are all those people now ? Lets see who is REALLY dedicated to making the sale at all costs.

Selling below mineral cost must mean someone has a very poor BP and very low skills, for all the ships I have details on, you can make isk, just by insuring the ship and destorying it.

Selling at 5 million is stupid.
Just insure the ship, and blow it up. You'll make more.
You people are idiots for selling so low.
You've messed it all up. You sell so low, I might as well just sell the minerals to npc's and make more. Have you ever heard of mark-up? Normal retail is 40%. Most people do 10% now or less.
Most of you obviusly havn't taken any econ/business classes. Supply and demand only takes you so far. The market isn't broken, the people are.

Thats very funny Jolo, considering it was YOU that I saw selling Thorax's for 5 mil on these boards yesterday. Its exactly because it was so rediculous that I made this post. If someone really wants to sell them for 5 mil I might as well buy one and either sell it for more or keep it for myself or blow it up to collect insurance.

Our corp was buying a battleship BP on monday and we were short like 10 mil. So a buddy and mine sold our personal cruisers to make it up quick. If you check the boards you'll see we are selling at 6.5 again. Which is still pretty low.

For consumers, this is the best time. For us, producing ships isn't time/effort/cost effective anymore. Wasn't the npc price of a thorax like 14 mil or something?
I'm just sad that's all

If you ever happen to dock in Sing Laison, check the market history (set to 3 months - use table view).
We sold the first ever Thorax Cruiser sold on the 'free' market in Sing Laison for 14999297 ISK (the 297 is our 'tag'), those where the days......

Only way you can fixthis is to make a pact with every Thorax Seller or bulk sellers and say not to sell below a certain price. so a profit margin is set. to make sufficient profit. either that or sell somert else.

Lowest price I found for Thorax was 6M, and the seller included a Thorium M bp.
Done and done.

Nope theres a corp selling them at a regular price of 5.7 mil each, and some corps occasionally sell a few at 5 mil when they need to get some cash quick like Elite corp did the other day. I bought 2 at 5.7 mil last night.

That corp is mine. We used to sell between 6.2-6.3 on a regular basis until this weekend when none of our ships sold.
Therefore we lowered our costs to increase demand.
Gusy is a smart producer, he gives BP copies out with his ship he sells for 6mil. Since we can't give out copied BPs we lowered our price to 5.7 and again have been able to sell them at that price regularly.
Our CEO got an email from a 'Trade Federation' group...seems that their are a group of corporations already trying to make a cartel...
We'll see.

People are to greedy. I have specialised in the production of frigate gear (yeah, laugh ;) )and sell at a newbie system. There's only one competitor for most of the items in the whole region. I have started to sell at the same price like him - it means we both won't sell as many units as before but at the high markup.
I hope he is clever and doesn't start the silly undercutting.
