Hi,
I have noticed upon my return to the game that there are Jove controlled stations with agents. I tried to do a mission, but my standing is not so great with them. When reading the agent info it says they are not open to the public. So....is it true, there's station, agents, and no way in hell to improve one's standing with them because they have not been released in the game!?!?!?!?!?!?!?  That makes for lousy chances to refine perfectly.

Yep you cant use em, but it is only 2 stations in the entire galaxy that are acceable + the ore around em is ****e

Yeah, I found this out the hard way when I decided to do some mining whilst I got my early bs related skills up (i.e. train skills and mine ore for that replacement bs when I lost my first one). Unfortunately I had set up shop in an X-Sense station which is Jove controlled - don't think it mattered early on as there was no refining / standing adjustment, but then they brought this in and I was sitting on a truckload of ore
Tried to usae the agent as you did but no dice and I was never able to find a way to raise my standing enough to use even the lowliest worm of an X-Sense agent.

Lets say it was possible to get good standing to speak to the lowliest worm from X-sense... would they talk to you? I don't think so, but I could be wrong.
I don't want to complain, but if a agent is there, they should not be "not in game". From what I have heard from toher people they have been in the game for a while now, but not opperative?!?

There are only 2 stations that are accessable... where? So the ones in Amarr area are not accessable? Do tell, I am intrigued now.

There are several Jove-controlled stations (X-Sense and some others) throughout all Empires.
I've used more than 3 different X-Sense stations in Amarr space alone.

Standing with Jove isn't relevant as far as agents go .. their agents simply aren't available yet. I don't know of any other way to improve your standing with specific Jovian corporations.

With Corporations it indeed is impossible. Working for the Caldari does raise your Jovian Faction standing though. Which should have the same effects on refining.

Nuh-uh. The Federation loves me, but the only stations where I get free refining are those of the specifics corporations I work for.

Early in the game it was possible to do Jove agent mission, but they removed it. Those of us that did them got screwed in the process, sorta. After they removed access they boosted our ratings with other agents but they didn't take into consideration actual faction, just what space you were in. So I as a Caldari ended up with high standing with some Gallente agents. My X-Sense standing stayed though, which is 3.28.

Speaking of standings, I used to have a 10.0 standing to the Jove Empire, as did a lot of other people, but it was cut in half along with all other standings back before Castor =(
The Jove agents aren't available yet, I imagine they'll be put in when the Jove story arc starts. Until then, like was said, you can improve your faction standings to the Jove but not coporation standings.

Oh, okay.
Thanks guys. I was hoping to be proven wrong, because I wnated to work on my connections and social to do agent missions for Jove. I guess I should wait on that now. Is Jove empire coming with Kali? or not know as of yet.
I also came across some Jove "parts". That won't allow me to talk to agents? "Hey look! I have your leaders nethers! Lets talk business now, okay?"

The "parts" you are talking about are from an event from long.. long ...long ago.. did I say loooong?
Jove space and acess to it's agents(allong with concord agents) has been cut off for players since waaaay back. I believe since the castor patch or even before that.
When you've been playing for more than 2 years one sometimes forgets which nerfs/features/patches did what.....
Any timeline for Jove space or it's agents would probably best be described as : "it's coming SOON(tm)"
