Given the Dev's previous statements about removing research agents, I'm not sure I can get the value out of this skill before they remove them given its high skillbook cost and training time. Anyone heard anything about when this thing is likely to get removed? Also anyone hear about what they plan on using the skill for in the future if anything or if it's just going to disappear completely? |

What dev blog was the removal of research agents mentioned in?
As far as I understand it the skills that allow use of research agents also are used in manufacturing and invention of t2 BPCs. So the skills would still be useful.
If a skill is removed then we are refunded the npc cost of the skill book and the SP is allocated to be assigned to new skills. |

The thread title specifically mentions Research Project Management, which is a skillbook concerned only with allowing multiple research agents to be accessed.
The datacore amount was nerfed a while ago, making the skill less worthwhile. |

I remember hearing talk about taking datacores altogether away from this, though I can't give an exact source, HOWEVER, if/when they do go through with this, the skill will likely have some related use, or the SP will be refunded. It's a win/win scenario. The question you SHOULD be asking yourself is, "Am I willing to grind up rep with a bunch of indy corps that wont really matter after the change"

Edit: my original post was erased.. but it was something along the lines of, I sure wish i had that time I wasted doing something I hate back.
Maybe they could let me convert that REP to isk, since I don't manufacture anything, I don't need useless rep with NPC indy corps |
