Fangtooth	Posted - 2005.08.16 22:03:00 - [1] I have heard some gosip that many of the old FA corps are creating a new alliance, with the first priority of taking back fountain. I also hear that BIG and Xan will not be invited/included/a member of this new alliance. Do we have a name for the new alliance yet, ? Will FA mk2 Place a claim on fountain ? no flames please, just looking for facts to either prove or disproce the goss.

I know this because We had a war with Norad at the time and I ran into them there. Rome, Unknown Shoe moved into Stain shortly after Imperium wooped up on Norad, I assumed at the time that Imperium had sent them packing, but looking back on it with one contract out of the way Norad, they were free to start on another Stain. TSBH and Burn Eden following them about a month later and helping them out. All of these corps working for FA at the time. What suprised me was that B-E didnt join the SMASH alliance with the rest of them when it was formed rather they moved into Curse and started attacking the corps that moved down there. Now this is pure speculation, But I do remember Rome guys telling me they were under contract on Norad, they didnt say by who but its pretty obvious that the contract payer was FA. Umm, put a little more thought into that... We pay a corp (or 2) to wage war against an ally, just for us (FA) to assist that very same ally? I mean, sure FA has done some strange things, but we're not _that_ stupid Infact, when Imperium was attacking NORAD, we were discussing relocation options to offer to NORAD corps to eg. Delve & Period Basis. Never really got around to putting that into practice sadly Our first contact with SMASH was when they were already fighting against Stain and TSBH left FA to join them. If anything, it would have been more likely for us to pay SMASH to stay away from Stain, so we could fight Stain ourselves. (Yeah, we had (have?) a 'grudge' against Stain ) End of discussion really PS "we" as in 'FA', as I was member of FA then. Not anymore though... _______________

Cruel Intentions has declared war on Xanadu and SMASH alliance I believe that fighting can take place atm, so everyone have fun. I think we will probably declare on Huff Technologies as well since we have an extra slot opening up and they seem to have a cozy arraingment with you all as well. Reasons for the war... its convienient and you guys are close so not a bunch of traveling, you may say its over the Vale of the Silent region but honestly I really dont care about that region other than it provides us with some close targets. I'll have to go find my killmails from that time frame (I think they're lost), but I'm pretty sure that I lost two battleships to Rome guys taking pot shots at newbies that couldn't keep up with the fleet. (yes, I was a newbie back in december - 0.0 pvp wise anyways) Proud member of Elite Academy.
