Now, first off, when i say specialisation skills, i mean skills such as small blaster specialiation, medium railgun speciliation etc etc.
Now the description in, lets say, small blater specialisation is this..
Specialist training in the operation of
advanced small blasters. 2% Bonus to the
damage of turrets requiring Small Blaster
Specialization
And then if we go to look at the skill requirements for a large tech2 blaster, we will see that small blaster specialiation is required to a certain level.
Am I therefore right to assume that my level of the skill small blaster specialiation will have an effect on the damage output of not only my small tech2 blaters, but also my medium and large tech2 blasters, and then subequently my skill medium blasters pecialiation will affect the damage of both my medium and large tech2 blaters.
Please say this is so, and if not, then these skill descriptions need changing, or made to affect the said damage outputs. Could someone please clear this issue up for me, as I have been pondering this for a few days now.

No it does not, "requiring small blaster specilization" should specify that the requirement includes only the primary ones.

Small Blaster Specialisation is required for the Large Blaster Specialisation skill, but is not required in itself for the use of large T2 blasters.
It's a subtle distinction.

yup the description is borked.
I can see your point
get over it,
Think on all those poor sods who choose trade in their character set up and then learned it to lvl4 and its original -5% per level cost NPC purchases AND sales.
onlt to find out it wasnt implemented, and when the skill was eventually brought in they COMPLETELY changed the description to some crappy sales order thingy grrr....

The description isn't borked at all.
Large tech 2 blasters do not 'require' small blaster spec. They require three skills - Large Hybrid Turret 4, Gunnery 5, and Large Blaster Specialization 1.
It just happens to be the case that THOSE skills have other pre-requisites, and one of those pre-reqs is Small Blaster Spec.
But the blaster itself does not have Small Blaster Spec as a requirement.
