EXCEED INC. - Accepting applications and merger candidates now.
Who are we?
EXCEED INC. is a medium sized corporation consisting of a band of rather active brothers (no sisters at the moment though there's several characters that look rather suspicious) of all races, backgrounds and ages. We have a nack for making the best of EVE in all perspectives on and in the game with the notable exception of piracy.
We are a deep space corporation in all aspects with few but well maintained empire relations.
We can *cough* be a weird bunch, but we're professionals.
Where do we live?
We live in deep space, Impass and Feythabolis to be exact with field offices in surrounding and remote deep space as well as empire regions.
What do we do?
We hunt, we build, we mine, we sell, we kill. We go for challenges and fun. That is it in a nutshell. There's not enough space here to go into a boring overview of T2 BPO's, agent standings, 0.0 Production and Research, PVP wings, n00b invasion tours and the rest of the details.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for individual pilots as well as entire corporations. Folks with either a primary perspective like mining, hunting, industry or pvp or a more hybrid perspective combined of several of the beforementioned perspectives.
We're looking for people who put their heart and soul into Eve, whatever their primary perspective is. That being said, as a deep space corporation there is no room for "just" the single objective. Life here is challenging and nice, but it does come down to the simple observation of "everybody works, everybody fights - all in good fun and with a nice wallet".
A few things to keep in mind:
* There is no deep space without pvp. Simple.
* We allow for an abundance of personal freedom, we're totally relaxed in that sense but corporate operations are obligatory. Obviously we take real life (!) and active circumstances into account but the idea is that everybody participates to a reasonable extent of their possibilities without compromising the fun factor (and actually to effectively make the most out of fun factors).
* We live in some of the most excellent regions in Eve, an area with an abundance of npc targets, rich belts, high level complexes and from time to time friendly wannabee invaders providing a more alternative source of entertainment.
* A standard 5% tax applies to activities, standard alliance refining taxes at conquerable stations apply as well.
* Refining at POS refineries is free of charge depending on participation in corporate operations.
* For NPC hunting we have a loot policy in place where all loot except whatever you want to keep for yourself is dumped into industry hangars from where it is recycled and magically transformed into ammo, modules and ships.
Recruiting requirements and procedures:
* get in touch with one of our recruiting officers to arrange for an interview (Rugli, Bosscha, KrogothZero).
* interviews take place in a special channel for which access will be granted for the duration of the interview and if to mutual appreciation until acceptance of the application.
* every candidate is obliged to register at our (out of game) forums in order to make a formal application post.
* pending the outcome of the interview each candidate will be asked to log out of eve, make a screenshot of his or her character selection screen by means of the Eve client itself within a given timeframe and post this on the corporation forums. From this background checks will be performed.
* if all details check out the candidate will be accepted and directed to one of our Empire space locations for the formal in game application process.

We are a friendly bunch of mostly mature players ranging from late teens to players in their 40's!

As stated above, as well as individual players, we are also interested in talking to smaller corps about a possible merger.
We are large enough that we can get things done but not so large that you need worry about being swallowed up or anything like that.
We can offer you and your corpmates the opportunity to make new friends, to join part of a truly excellent alliance (something which most corps would find it hard to manage alone as the entrance requirements are very high), giving you access to excellent mining, ratting, complex and pvp opportunities.

ive been a member for little over a month and must say comming to 0.0 have been a lot more fun than i expected , this is a great corp to join if you dont like someone telling you what to do all the time ,you get a lot of free time to do what you want when you want , ive been helped out in any way possible to get better in pvp and flying around 0.0.

Lol - good to see you again :-) Sadly I can't post with my main "main" thanks to a repeat hackfest :/
A little update on one of our programs which might be of interested: our carriers are ready to go into the oven - so CCP give us a new hotfix for the bug after the patch for the hotfix now please ^^
I'ts BYOM for those interested so anyone can get one of these babies :-)

This place rocks, and despite the semi-literate l337z4r sp3ak up there we are down to earth, foccused organised and have an amazing spectrum of players and capabilities. And the freedom is the compelling factor of joining such an uber fantsatic corp. Plus, the more miners we get, the less i have to mine!!! Yaarrrr!!

Hi, I belong to a very small corp of friends and we have been looking to get into somthing a bit bigger and with some 0.0 fun
2 of us are 7 month old chars and 2 others and a alt are 2 years or somthing but can all use at least some form of hac and I the only Support logistic ships....
but getting back to the subject were are you all based from in the empire area and would we all be able to join?

Being a deep space corporation we have few empire ties, if any. After all the empire we are building is deep in the Angel Realm in 0.0 :-)
The system where we have an office in so called "empire space" at which we have a recruiting reception desk is located in Amarr.
As for timezones: technically speaking we are heaviest on the EU timezone but with the addition of a growing US complement and the notable fact that a lot of our pilots seem to have such an affection for their ships that it is relatively hard to find them asleep at all.
Remember: just drop by in the in game channel IXC-LIVE to have a chat. If we seem quiet it is safe to say that we are in an active operation (we pride ourselves on teamwork in anything we do), in which case we apologise for the delay but we will bump up and have a chat with you.

That is essentially correct yes. Instead of living a bit here and a bit there, or completely in "empire" we have instead opted to be part of something bigger then ourselves. Just like our pilots choose to be part of a corporation bigger then themselves. What we do in 0.0 comes down to building our own empire in deep space, involving all aspects which in most places you only find in "empire space".
CCP have finally provided the tools to do that, and continue to do that with the upcoming expansions. It goes beyond deploying a POS or even an outpost. It comes down to building the infrastructures an empire need, to defend that empire and to rule that empire - to live in a region of space where we can say "we built this from scratch and look what we've accomplished in spite of all odds".
Each new expansion by CCP opens up more windows to life in 0.0, it is where the game has taken us - and it is where we live to build an empire: with teamwork, spirit(s) and vigilance. In good fun and with nice wallets from one challenge to the next.

For those Capital Veterans that might be looking for an interesting place I should mention that IXC not just deploys Capital Ships but also builds them on the spot. As the alliance we are a proud part of is effectively building a deep space empire our Capital Ships are not exactly prone to becoming showcases collecting dust in various hangars, rather the opposite is true.
Deployment of Capital weaponry is a tough decision but not a rare one, whether against human pilot factions or others - and as we begin to see the dawn of factional warfare around here our allegiance with the Angel Cartel has made us proud to deploy Capital Ships alongside ships of the same class of the Angel Cartel.
The only downside is that sofar their use has not been allowed in our weekly tournaments :/

I'm sure sec status will increase over time :-) Considering you are moving from one realm to another. If you really are interested to join in order to be part of a team, and grow in the team feel free to join the in game channel of IXC-LIVE and have a chat with folks.
You should realise that we are "deep space" completely however :-) As such sec status is merely a remnant from empire space days and while it shows a pilot's history there is no Concord in deep space :P We do have a pilot named Konkord who basically fils up the void which the absence of Concord leaves but he has a soft spot for Exotic Dancers.
Our corporation is not just about PVP however, at all. PVP is an inherent part of life out here and most of our pilots are adept and keen on it. That being said life in deep space involves all aspects from all perspectives. Building an empire isn't done overnight and generally appears to require building stuff apart from blowing up other stuff :-)

Today is my 1 month anniversary with IXC and it has certainly been an interesting month. Getting used to life deep within 0.0 has been quite a learning experience as well. My personal impressions so far:
Everybody in the corp has been very friendly and very willing to give advice on whatever I have needed. Some in the corp are a bit weird , but I am getting used to them... The average age of the corp members seems to be fairly high, so there's a lot of mature, responsible people around (if a bit weird, like I said )
There have been a few corp operations and in general there's a strive to have even more fun events for everybody, but otherwise everybody is free to define their own roles within the corp. This is either a bad or a good thing, depending on what you prefer. If you are looking for a strict hierarchy, with clearly defined roles, rules and demands, then IXC might not be for you. There are some responsibilities, but the most important thing for everybody is just to have fun

Alright,
time for an update. IXC is currently open for selective and referred recruiting only.
This may seem a bit harsh, but IXC has immensely grown the past few months: in size, in teamwork, in efficiency, in everything. Now it is time to fully integrate resources and pilots into the machine known as IXC.
Selective and referred recruiting, what do we mean with this?
Simple really, selective recruiting means we set priorities on pilot capabilities and proficiency. Referred recruiting means that those brought forward to us by those with who we share respect in EVE are also given a priority.
The above does mean that pilots not fully versed in terms of skills and capabilities are currently not considered candidates. We apologise for this, in our history we have always given people a chance to come in at any EVE age, but our growth has always come through quality rather then quantity.
And life in deep space, the evolution of life there, requires a higher degree of more advanced skills, or experience as well as mentality.
Does this mean you may never get to join us? Not at all. Have a chat in IXC-LIVE and make yourself known. The path can evolve from there.
So what are we focusing on these days? Well, too much to dive into here to be perfectly honest, IXC has become so focused and diverse at the same time that you have to explore us, one step at a time.
What are we looking for in pilots? Simple really:
- maturity (this does not mean you have to be sane btw)
- balance between real life and eve
- good amounts of gametime
- able to use teamspeak
- able to use T2 weaponry and ships
- able to fly or be close to flying capital ships
- ready for, or fully versed in life in deep space
On a sidenote, IXC welcomes female EVE players, in fact: we value them (and yes, that is meant seriously, and not for weird intents or purposes, it is a matter of mentality).
We live in 0.0, we build our empire there. "Empire space" hardly exists to us. That should be absolutely clear.
A special note should be that we are a crazy bunch at times, we do not take eve as a job but still get things done which takes most megacorporations far more time and resources, we value team spirit, but always everything has to be in balance. This is as I hear a game after all.

Time for an update :-)
IXC continues its policy of selective recruiting to ensure our recent new members get settled in the team nicely and resource models are adjusted once more for continued growth.
Bear in mind that as a corporation we are a hybrid corporation. We place a natural emphasis on Capital and T2 weapon skills due to the challenges of building an empire in deep space, and we balance that with our emphasis on advanced resource management for funding and fun purposes :-)
We're a very simple bunch when push comes to shove:
- real life comes first.
- we're civil
- but nuts
- everybody works
- everybody fights
That is the basis in a nutshell really. EVE is a game, and even though we take it very seriously the primary target is to make sure that we find our fun factors. Cool bit is that we do :-)
IXC is a corporation with an open mind. We all share the same base drive of making a living in deep space, and on a higher level to team together to build an empire out there. As cheeky as it may sound ... an empire which does stand the test of time (and anything else the universe throws at us) :-)
I do regret that currently we are not accepting candidates for our academy, our focus is on the Kali targets (we plan ahead ya know, it makes sure we don't have to treat EVE like a job) and long term interests which currently require a lot of our focus to implement.
That being said, please feel free to join the in game channel IXC-LIVE and have a chat. Get to know folks and see how things go.
If you think there is more to EVE then the simple gank, the repetitive mission strain, the blob or the simple prospect of taking life from day to day then you are right. There is so much more in this game then just that, and IXC is the corporation which always moves ahead.

2. IXC is a member of the Ascendant Frontier alliance, and if you have not noticed, we are at war with BOB and currently on the offensive.
This is one of the more massive wars we have seen in EVE in a long time: BOB as a community of hand picked core pvp pilots against the Hobbits of ASCN, it is one hell of a fun learning curve backed up by the might of logistics and industry. A nice war sofar, stearing away from smack and with grand goals on all sides.
If you are up for a real tour of duty, being a part of a tightly knit team with a heavy focus on fleet (no blob) and capital warfare then you should check this out ;-)
3. If you meet these criteria, and think you are up for it, I should metion that this is war time recruiting. Credentials will be ever so tightly checked, references are a bonus, and team player mentality is a must.
