Unless they can verify that the server was lagging or you've got screenshots, you won't get your ship reimbursed. I only recently lost a Raven to Cruise Missiles hitting me in-warp at 20AU  .

Off topic slightly, but that Raven setup would not be my first choice to do that particular mission. I'd use a Megathron with a full rack of 250mm rails (and maybe even blasters, depending on how close those ships like to fight).

And the raven works just fine to do the mission.
Takes a bit longer than it used to do tho..

Usually they just have an insane tragettign range. I've been locked by an NPC in a Velator from 100km away, but ti didn't fite till I was 10 km from it

your mother would not be my first choice, i would rather your sister, but i guess if i had to take your mom it would be ok. i mean she is not the greatest, but its ok.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. The only way one sees the ship destroyed while in warp, would be because of lag. However, I¦m truly sorry to inform you that no server problems have been reported at the time your ship was destroyed and our logs do not indicate any irregularities. Due to this, it is impossible for us to tell what exactly caused you to lag and the events that led up to the destruction are unknown to us.
It is possible that your ISP or a router your connection must go through on it¦s way to the EVE servers were having problems. At least, this can not be explained with our logs.
Regrettably we can not compensate you for your loss, I'm sorry.

Sorry, but I don't know if I would have believed the pics anyway.
No offense, but your pics show that you have two shield hardeners and a XL booster with a shield amp all active. You have cap left as well. You really want me to believe that you couldn't tank two little frigs?
I take it back if there was more shooting at you but only those that are locked are visable, and I do realise weird stuff happens in lag. But it does seem odd that your shields couldn't hold up to two frigs.

It wouldn't help. They aren't accusing anyone of lying, just saying that if their server logs don't show lag, you don't get a refund.

Torps vs frigates, warp core stab, co-processor, smartbomb.... what on earth were you thinking? Heavy missiles have a hard time against frigates with average skills so you can imagine how useless torpedos are. If you knew what to expect you shouldn't be running that setup, if you weren't sure you should've asked or gone in with a shuttle to scout first instead of risking your battleship.

I've had this happen before and so have corp members. It's a de-synchronisation of the client with the server, the client believes you've warped out while the server believes you're still there and getting shot up. The only solution if you notice it happen is to attempt another warp as soon as you can to a different location.

that has nothing to do with this
he coulda gone in in an ibis, fitted with a civilan pulse laser, and basic shield flux coils in all his lows, but if he escaped, but then had his ship destroyed from 36AU, he really should have it replaced (if he really wanted it back  )
ok - so it wasn't a good setup, but should it mean that even though he got away, he should be forced to lose his ship to a bug?
