Well, heres a big one with regards to the fiction only CCP can answer, and its a specific part of the knowlege of Earth I'm curious to know.
Does CCP know what happened to Earth and the Terrans? Not asking to be told, I don't like spoilers if they are part of the overarching plot I hope is there.... But I just need to know, is there a sealed vault with an envelope sealed with the blood of TomB containg what happened to Earth, that the knowlege exists in a plot Bible somewhere that is never to be revealed fully.
I suppose ultimately this is like a worshiper asking a priest if God exists... but still.

It said a world outgrown that could not by itself sustain humanity, I don't interpret that as a Serenity style evacuation but as a spreading out of the existing population to the stars.

It would be awesome to know, its part of the allure, the mystery. All I'm hoping for is that CCP have a note of what the intend to happen on the Earth side regardless of if it ever comes into the plot.
X series eventualy brought Earth back into the plot, though I always liked the idea that one of my colonies in wormhole space was planted on an abandoned Earth.....

Beginning to suspecting there's a general blanket ban from ISD and the Devs going anywhere near Earth related threads incase they somehow let something slip by accident. Well played CCP, but that answers my bloody question in the first place as to if there was anything written down to know

Well that was a fiction, pretty sure it would work differently if we are developing the technology for real. Point in context, we are now getting computer assistant watched that we have wanted since the 1920's.

I prefer the idea that something like the Columbian exchange was going on, and that the Terran side needed New Eden badly as a core interest more than as a component of a colonisation program of the Milky Way. However having done back of the envelope calculations I don't understand why the Terrans would have needed Stargate technology as an absolute necessity, nor that they didn't colonise the entire Milky Way.
We know our current tech is inferior to the Terrans, but we could take a vessel and cross the entire Milky way in under a century, even accounting for pausing to recharge capacitor and picking up new fuel. No, I think that the current backstory is s theory that the people of New Eden have, not what actually happened.
It would be interesting to go back through Eve and see that a similar dark age / collapse occurred on the other side, maybe introduce 8 or so new races from the rubble.
