Since patch it happens 100% when I try and change into or from windows mode.
I sem to remeber threads on this in the past - Oh for a search function.

I rebooted while warping to a StarGate..
I just play in windowed mode. It's not worth it using Alt-Enter. Nothing but problems.

i just crashed to the desktop when switching mode. I normaly just stay in windowed, but if my screensaver comes on, eve is broken when i get back, so i have to switch to fullscreen and back.

I haven't used a screen saver for ages.
Last monitor I had. I shook the mouse to wake up the screensaver. And my monitor was displaying moosh. So I call them screen killers now.
I just turn my monitor off. It last longer.
But yeah, I could imagine a screensaver kicking in while EVE is running wouldn't be a good thing. It never is with games.

Same here. Switching from Full Screen --> Windowed means CTD and switching from Windowed to Full Screen means computer reboot 90% of the time. This did not happen before the latest patch. I'm a NVIDIA User too.

Yep I have this trouble to (the old nvd4 etc fault). It NEVER happened before the last patch, so that patch has clearly screwed with the EVE code in some way.
It needs to be fixed or officially recognised ASAP !!
This is no joke. They need to stop ****ing about with their PAYING customers.

Before patch my laptop used to work perfectly with EVE ONLINE. But ever since they have introduced this bug full patch, whenver i change from full screen mode to Windows mode or VICE VERSA my laptop crashes to XP and then restart. Also sometimes when i shut down eve it restarts. All this start happening after this patch. my sec are

since last patch on GF3:
CTD or Reboot when changing windowed resolution.
Not nice.
