Somehow I have the impression that calmil is full of incompetent noobs that don-¦t know how to set up their overview right or simply people who really want everyone to scare out from joining caldari militia.
Think of all the kills you are missing by being in fw. :)
Actually its really a common mistake. I admit I shot friendly militia once due to the default overview settings.
Another time I was shot by a friendly miltiia when i picked up some tags from a wreck that was not mine. This turned me red so the other player in the allied militia assumed I started shooting him. I don't think this would happen now after the crime watch changes but I'm not sure.

Dark Cicle tried again to awox me. Sorry but a militia doing probably more friendly kills than wt kills and mostly with corps that have a completely broken killboard isn-¦t worth it. |

Hi Colt,
I'm sorry to hear you gave up on Caldari FW in two days. I've personally been here for about a month and am having a blast. :)
Relying on random friendlies in local for backup is risky business for both parties, as risking your ship to help random purples is a very effective way of losing said ship.
In Loes we live around pirate homesystems and Gallente FW blobs, so naturally we are very careful of spies and traps in the area.
But hopefully we can hammer it into our guys' heads that purple means friendly and being awake for days is not an excuse.. :P |

Main problem in your militia is: You guys even shoot at a blue when you KNOW that I am a blue.
When I told that my corpmates in amarr mili they were almost shocked.
Sorry but in amarr mili we have mostly a very very strict "do not shoot blues or you will be kicked instantly from alliance" policy in effect. I am not used to fear blues and purples.
Yeah I understand what you mean.. I've watched friendly gangs/fleets killing friendlies inside plexes for no apparent reason. It's very strange and unusual, but with no serious consequenses to purple killing I'm surprised I haven't heard about corps joining FW just to kill friendlies AND enemies.
We'll likely implement an alliance wide "we will scream at you and you will reimburse" policy about killing purples without a valid reason... Friendly killing in FW is about as ****** as dishonoring ransoms, and I'm very against both.

On a serious note I may join back with the squids as I feel the Gal/Cal warzone is more favourable to my solo/very small gang style of play......got some thinking to do now!

Well until yesterday I thought solo in cal/gal is great. Well I was doing okay until yesterday :(
Maybe I had simply a very very very very very bad day.
Edit: Okay it seems no one wants to awox me since I am (in a well known) corp. So calmil can be cool :D
Edit2: Tao you know Ret and Mord will be very uncomfortable when you start to awox amarrs as caldari :P

but TBH if I was gonna do the awox thing then I'd join Amarr FW and justgo full pie in Cal/Gal warzone. 
I'm not against awox'ing in general but you just have to be aware of it of act accordingly. I assume everyone who isn't personally known/vouched for by corpies to be a potential target. But generally I won't agress a purple (public militia or allied militia) but I'll damn well defend myself.

Yeah, not so much an issue of caldari militia here, just what EVE is about. Expect blue on blue fire anytime, anywhere from anyone. Makes the game much more exciting if ya ask me. |
