I have figured out how to make money shipping/trading (well, enough for now I guess), but it is a grind at best. I am still too new to fight in corporate wars...
So, is the PVE content fun? What kind is the most fun? |

Missions get boring pretty quickly - they're an awful grind. You get excited by progressing to a bigger ship and a higher level agent, but then find out it's just more of clicking red plus-signs.
Some entertaining PVE can be found in incursions, which I think would probably need a higher-skilled character, or lowsec exploration, which can also be pretty profitable and exciting because there are people who want to kill you :P (they won't if you're careful). Exploration is also more involved than missions |

Null sec is the equivalent of end-game of EvE .
There isn't a thing such as "most fun"
Try everything.
If you are a pew pew kinda guy , try faction warfare first to have a taste of pvp , or maybe RvB , if you like what you see , join a small-medium sized alliance such as Black Legion , Red , or perhaps the Gents to get a feel of small gang to small fleet warfare in null and low sec.
If you think your path is with the nulls , THEN you join TEST , Goons , PL , NC-DOT, or whatever, but be warned , those alliances are a one way trip. Once you have joined the big timers , hopping to another one will be VERY difficult , so at that stage you have to chose wisely, but thats quite a while off so its not of immediate concern.
If you are an industrial kind of guy. Start with mining and run some missions for Lai Dai or whatever to get access to research agents , they will help you research T2 BPCs . And then with some capita , get an alt , get 10 perhaps , and unleash them in a belt to mine 24/7 with Orca offgrid support , and whiling you are mining , sort out the BPO and start making T2 ships and sell them for a MASSIVE profit of 10s of billions a month , or perhaps a week if you got the alts. You can also try PI , which then you can start making Fuel Blocks and other commodities that are ESSENTIAL to the continued success of ANY major corporations . Which by then you'll be sitting on TRILLIONS of isk , wondering which Titan should you buy before you log off .
Maybe you can joim BCA , or maybe Red Industries or maybe other subsidiary under the major federations in New Eden.
In the end , its all about personal preference and NO ONE should tell you whats fun or whats not . Try it for yourself and then DECIDE for yourself .

can you fly a frigate? fit a propulsion jammer? fit T1 guns/missles/drones/something to go in the high slot that does damage? if you can you are fit for corp wars. Just find a good group and go and play. |

This depends much on your definition of fun. For some fun means making a good effort and so they run 16 missions plus a storyline mission, others like to clear an asteroid belt, then there are those who explore 20-30 systems along a route, etc.
Then there is fun with friends where it does not matter what you do as long as you do it with your friends. From having chats while sitting at a gate or grinding a structure with a fleet or having found a good fight.
Anything you like doing will be fun once you start doing it and when you do it with friends even more so.

PvE in eve is primarily shooting red dots for isk, and it gets boring really fast. If you do missions you are running the same missions over and over, and exploration is the same sites over and over, there really is not a lot of PvE content in eve.
You need to have a purpose with grinding isk, and don't aim for something easy like getting a faction battleship, if you do you are right back where you are now in a couple of weeks. Find yourself some goal that require a lot of funding, then running the missions or exploration sites turn in to progress that slowly turns the dream into reality, which probably is the most fun you can get out of eve pve content.
I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous. |

To put it simply - Tthe most fun in EvE is ruining someone else's day.
Whether that's making their ship go pop, undercutting them on the market, taking their space, emptying their corps wallet, ganking their pods when they go autopiloting with full sets of implants, or just afk cloaking on alts so they can't do anything in their home systems - depends on how you like to play the game.

For one, it has got nothing to do with EVE. Other than this do you want to filter out all the stupid words that will get your forum into the results of search engines. Just imagine a lot of players using the word in their comments and then people making Google searches and the forum would show up among the results for p*rn...
The filter is also terrible, because as soon as you concatenate words will it fail. So you can write the word "bullshit" even when sh*t is censored, but it is usually better to use the word "nonsense" instead or to ignore the whole thing.
