I'm sure this is going to be a very pathetic theft by most of your standards but I decided hey - you have to start somewhere right?
Today, I joined a carebear Mining corp and decided.. maybe I didn't want to be a Miner after all. I had every intention of being such a wonderful and respectful citizen of carebear-land but then the green-eyed monster within me forced me to take a peek into the corp hangar and there it was: 750m in ships and skillbooks staring back at me.
For an hours work, I think 750m is not bad profit. I think I'm going to like this Mining career. |

Oh wow, they gave you roles to see a director's hangar within an hour?
I don't always support corp theft, but when I do, I always support stealing from igorant carebears who can't setup roles. |

I was considering finding a corp with Orca support to set up a ransom. What sort of firepower am I going to need to take down an Orca before backup can arrive (assuming they refuse to pay the ransom)?
I don't wanna be floating around in something too expensive as it just cuts into my profit if I do manage to get caught. It's unlikely but it could happen. Would a T1 frig be able to handle the job?

No. I've done this many times and ive made a lot of easy isk. Just train a meta 4 fit brutix for dps. All that matters if that you kill their drones quickly fit 2 poitns if there are other barges and if helps comes and you dont think you can handle it just already try to be aligned and get out of there |

You want to have the Orca to 25% structure or lower. At the FIRST sign of reinforcements arriving, kill it.
Usually these sorts of corps have terrible opsec and so the 'please help me, traitor in corp' messages and responses will be sent in the corp chat channel you can read.

They don't, if they are appropriately interacted with.

Good work.
On subject... Really stupid question, If someone is remote repping me in high sec (say i'm rasoming a corpie) do the need to be in my fleet? Will remote repping someone you don't know in high sec cause concordoken? I didn't want to start a thread of my own for such a stupid question, seems like the answer sould be no but i don't wanna loose a ship over a guess. |

If your RR reps you while you're in corp with opponent you should be allowed to rep without even going suspect, atleast that worked last time for me.
Either way unless you're on tradehubs or main trade routes you shouldn't worry much about your RR going suspect, it's rare that people actually go for your RR unless they're paid to... just keep it out of range for most and you'll be fine. |

I think they made it universally suspect because of neutral reps in "can flipping duels." I think they wanted the duel system to be a little more protected, so they made a neutral repper go suspect to everyone, not just the person in the duel they aren't helping. |

it doesn't work like that with in-corp fighting, cause you're allowed to shoot your corp members no matter what. |

If you have RR while you do this it can be crazy fun because you know they probably won't have enough firepower after their buddies arrive like 30 minutes later in their bad fit frigates that you just blow up for fun then ransom the orca. |

Not unless they changed this in the last day or two. Also, confirming that if the shooter and target are both in-corp, and the RR is out of corp, as long as the shooter does not have a suspect flag the RR shouldn't draw any sort of Crimewatch flag either. Nerf Mining!
Now just think about the time you would've sat in a belt before you'd have those 750m in your wallet. Makes you never want to touch a barge ever.
Good job.
