I've noticed it lately on my videos, and others' videos, and I'm not sure exactly when it started. For some reason, sometimes the ship explosion is not there. The ship goes down, and you just get a pod sitting there, all nice and pretty.
I was watching in-game today and noticed that it's not the recorded fraps missing it, but the game itself is not showing the explosions. Has anyone else noticed this? Sup with that.

yeah ive noticed this too. kinda anoying aftre you blow a bs up and theres no big bang!

tab + ctrl + alt + e = no effects... or in other words... no explosions...
easier to catch the pod

That too (I think) but I've seen it missing even with all effects on.

Try blowing up a POS and it not exploding. Was almost enough to make us cry.

Exactly, I don't any affects turned off. It's almost random whether i get the explosion or not

its damn annoying as it makes the footage look a bit meh without teh pop. Id like to see them come back 100% all the time (no i dont turn effects off either), along with the web effect
