first, props to IRON-GIMP for jumping...
then about the bringing a big blob and complaining about lag.. u know there are several reasons to bring it and we didnt go there to produce lag..
the last big fight i was in was COALITION-vs-FIX, at similar numbers but still not that much and we had lag but not THAT bad... so i see it also as SE and IRON/G/IMP testing CCP¦s equipment to the limit and i¦d like to see CCP thank us all for doing that!!!
further i think u, northern guys, had more experience with that kind of blob-fight, i guess cuz of ur fights with bob, and i think all of u loggin out and back in was what maybe reduced ur lag to some playable amount.. whereas our guys at the gate COULNDT kill all of u cuz locking and firing wasnt possible for the most part... i couldnt even see ANYBODY.. but im not complaining cuz as said i see it more like a test and all the produced scrap-metal on both sides make me laugh somehow ;)
a little side-note on my personal sight... i tried to relog.. took me about 15 minutes... missed most of the "fight".. but i was a planet3 when a fight occured.. got me on 2 or 3 killmails.. got primary... BUT somehow managed to escaped my shiny tempest with about 5% HULL... eww.. the first thought.. when CCP¦s OH-U-ESCAPED-I-LET-U-SLOWLY-DIE-feature kicked in.. me at a safe - shields recharge - BUT modules slowly turning of one by one - my tempest - my ship - it shivers - it¦s puking - "boarding ship" ... there it goes ... fun somehow but heavy to take ;)
and some numbers in the end.. saw 96killed in the last hour when i logged, think our losses where about 40 maybe 50 maybe more... quite even, maybe slight advantage for north. but i guess we see some "official" numbers soon...

ah.. and forgot the worst part of it all anyway: forgot my bong in a taxi when getting home somehow after that fest... LOL

let me correct a few things elenor:
invasion? i mean we come with 200ppl, a freighter, pos and ****, u r right, but i dont think its a real invasion its just standard equip nowadays ;) (but im no politician so dunno.. my goal is to have fun and kill some)
about yesterday.. no u didnt let us merge our fleets, but who cares...
and u had 100 against our 65.. just wanted to add this
and congrats that u could mobilize some miners from ur backyard, u did it quite fast..
we know what its like to be on either side of such a war and i look forward to have some nice fights in the next weeks :)

who said something about even about yesterday? why are you using bad rethoric to say we are "stupid".. :(
i hear a lot of cheap propaganda from g/iron and some funny flaimbaits from woodloose ;)
and no we didnt outnumber you, but i guess all your miners need some justification and some good reasons to put their mining-lasers away, dont they? ;)
haha.. and species talking stain into somethin... nice try.. haha

i agree buddrow.. i got killed at the planet and there was some lag but was ok for me so i dont want any money back from ccp - u guys were close and i was lucky enuff not to be tackled but unlucky enuff to come out with 4% hull.. whatever, who cares
everybody killed at the gate should be reimbursed - but for me it looks like CCP DOESNT CARE AT ALL - in fact after each fight that problematic CCP SHOULD BE SO KIND SO GET ONE GM UP ON THE STAGE AND PUBLICLY APOLOGIZE TO THE PAYING PLAYERS! (and most prolly it would result in many questions and flames, but gm¦s dont need to answer them, so...)
but they always keep quiet and not even give a statement through a mod - that¦s the main thing that ****es me off about CCP.

matthew.. im not complaining or whining.. it was fair fight concerning that we all got the same client and the same server.. but i said it earlier, we had similar fleet in the fix-coal-war and not that much lag so we didnt expect it and G/IRON jumped onto us so u can also say they caused the lag.. whatever..
i mean i¦d just like to see a news-post someday where CCP says something like: "we UPGRADED our servers/equipment by another xxx to blah blah..." (esp. thinking about the rumour they broke even a year ago - so maybe time to invest some more rather then flying to ibiza?)

yeye guys cool down.. it¦s called a "KILL-LIST" and most of our guys are not posting their losses, true.. our losses are coloured RED btw.. look for our losses at the enemies boards
BUT i think it¦s time to turn this thread into a flamefest so i just add this little fact: kills for SE in the last 3 days (in the north): 300+  (mostly small crap - admitted)
edit: this includes PODS.. so not "real" kills :)
