Asestorian	Posted - 2005.08.30 18:11:00 - [33] Well, gave this a go, the colours came out too dark really, but I don't really want to carry on messing around with them. click to view sig For those that care: This sig was made by starting with a new image on a white background, 400x120px. The first thing I did was to do a Filter -> Render -> Clouds on the background. Create a new layer, and then used some random brushes with my colour set to black. Next I took that large ship, and scaled it down, flipped it horisontally, and placed it behind the brush layers, just in a small gap I had left. Then I took the main ship, again scaled and flipped it, and placed it in the middle of that large circle thing, gave it a mask, and blended it very slightly. I desaturated both. Then all I had to do, was apply the colours, and then place the text and blend it using one of my pre-made text blends. The End.

I used the big ship ( freighter? ) in the background barely visible though, the other ship i used as a radial blur in the middle. the icons( looks like you have them as brushes or somethin ) were used a good bit, bottom right corner i have one of them, one in the middle, and the Portrait here section is in the square one. Surfing corpse ftw!

Kaeten	Posted - 2005.09.01 14:32:00 - [41] I've got a question when it comes to sig making, how do you fade colours from on side to the other. Or change colours for that matter, for example. Left side starts red and turns either light darker or to blue.
Mather Maelstrom	Posted - 2005.09.01 16:23:00 - [42] Photoshop has different ways of coloring either by layer blending or by several color adjusting menu's to get the smoothest effects. Try this: make a picture any size and render cloud make a new layer and use the bukcet 'fill' tool and set it on gradient now set your forground and background color, draw the line you wnat the gardient to run from and to. Now set the layer with gradient color (red to yellow or blue to purple whatever you choose) to 'color'. Instant smooth coloring for beginners, after this try out blending more and try out different effects as it will give different end results.
