I thought it was well written, well researched and overall one of the best articles on the situation I've read anywhere. Shame it takes a **** mag to do decent journalism these days.

I was happy to see the article, but frankly thought it was kinda 'fluff.' The unnecessary attempt to inject sex, somehow, some way was completely gratuitous. The actual discussion of Vile Rat's accomplishments in-game or in-life was also a bit 'once over, lightly.'
Sean Smith could easily inspired an article three or four times as long without losing the reader's interest.
All said, I'd give it a 'B.' Which is a whole lot better than being ignored.
Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Think about the readership though, and the "general" dim view most people have on games in the first place (i.e. they're "for kids", etc). Throw something in the writeup that a playboy reader can identify with (i.e. Tigerlily), and the probability they read the entire article (and see whatever ads are in it) goes up.
