I really donŠt like this idea of hundreds of men, women and children working and dying in a battle ship. To me its a medieval concept. The way i see it, the crew of my ships is composed of androids. One of them acts as the interface between me and the other androids and also to the ships computer. Basically these androids only need a bust and some kind of way to transport themselves thru the ship (rails, mag lev, etc). With the upper part of the body resembling the human shape, they can do all the chores needed in a ship. IMO this is the way it should be. If we have faster then light traveling, sure we can build some androids to get blown up instead of people.

I think in this day and time women work in the same places as men do. The children part was just to exaggerate the issue.

When i first read that there were crews for the bigger ships (i think about 600 people for a bs) i freaked out. With the amount of ships that are destroyed every day, it's amazing there are any humans left in EVE. So, i decided i wanted a different approach to this matter. That's why i did this post to express my opinion. Most of you guys preferred to post funny remarks (some of them pretty funny btw), and its fine with me. But still would like to read some constructive comments cause i know there are people that think about this kind of issues. Thanks for the inputs.

DidnŠt think about NPC ships... just adds more people to the blood bath.
As for cloning, i would think that it's too expansive for crew members. But it's a way to make things seem a lot lighter, thanks
Those dam chronicles should haver never mentioned this issue

I'll read it thanks. As for the simple and complex planetary interactions, i hope they bring some new interaction with crews and population in general
