he might be close to the richest player ISK wise and asset wise in eve as well (but there could be others that go higher)
Now for a list of the top 10 richest characters ISK wise in eve.

Was a long time since i talked whit ur ceo, wasent he the 3person in to the game at retail? "3person that logged in when it got realsed"?
I also know that some old beta guys that i played whit during late beta. That are still around,
Dont know if Oosel played beta or how it was? _________________ * Stizzum orwhatever still owes me 15milj from bragging in local and lost a bet, 5monts or someting have gone since then. And counting * |

Yeah I was just going to ask if beta counted as being apart of that equation....I was a beta tester for about 6 months before the game was released. Semper Fi, Jonis- |

I saw some guy in the "Wanted" list, under escrow button, that his employment history claimed he has been playing for 38 years or something. That's hard for me to believe considering that most of the people who made EVE probably were like 5 years old then, but hey.... That's what it said.

That's the leader of the Serpentis corporation I believe, (1B+ isk bounty), he's probably some sort of event NPC/GM...
I first played Eve the 15th of September 2002, when the second beta wave hit (Medusa client), though playing the game might be the wrong term (7 isk starting capital 4tw).

Edited by: Miri Tirzan on 31/08/2005 14:12:01 Well, I was in US so I could not log in until the day after retail, but I started in Beta... 24 Dec 2002 (Beta 4). And was that a great Christmas present or what :)

May 17 2003. I used to think I was old, but I see some of the skill point totals and assets and ISK figures and I feel like a 2 day old noob.

Well, may I suggest that perhaps one of the Icelandic devs probably owns the oldest and consistantly used toons in the game :)
They were probably flying about from one station to another testing the game engine before the outside world even knew about EVE!

It is very possible and even likely. FYI in a recent report in US on aging, the fastest growing and healthiest group of citizen in the US alone, is the 100+ crowd.

Well, i've KIND OF been playing for a long time. I played it during about 2 months of the beta and the first 3 months the game was out, but took a 1 1/2 year break, and just started playing again a week ago :D

I am 63. I know a couple of 80 year olds that still play computer games but they do not play EVE. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ...One mans rubbish is another mans treasure... |

There's a lot of active players left in game who played beta and made their mains the first day of release. At least 3 or 4 in my corp alone, possibly more as I haven't done a survey :p

This character is created on the 3rd of May, 2003 the day the game went gold. But I would be a lot richer and has a lot more skillpoints if I have played continously but I don't. There are weeks or months when I don't play, where training and subscription lapsed.
Today I consider myself semi-retired, still selling stuff, still running a few missions once a day, a few days in a week, staying in EVE until the next big game comes along. EVE is no longer my primary game, being so time intensive that I could no longer afford much time for it. Another game has taken my main hobby interest. But EVE still relaxes me because of its familiarity and immersiveness. It still is a very special game after all these years.

I was born on 2003-06-13 :)
I have pauses sometimes because of rl, like a month off , but Eve is still my number 1 game.
In fact im in love so much again , I plan to create secound account.
And no i got not much isk and not insane amount of skillpoints.
My attributes were created when Eve skills req were different , now they arent to good for a fighter.
Also im a jack of all trades, you will never have top skillpoints that way.
For isk i pvp as soon as i got isk till i get none, so i am never rich I got 54 mlions isk , ishtar , 28,5 milions skillpoints and enjoying Eve greatly:)
